When I scheduled my maintenance, Andy said that the work would take a full day to fix and there were several cars ahead of me so he wouldn't get it done until Wednesday (5 days later). I left the truck with Andy and didn't get the truck back until Friday. Normally I would have been upset with this, however, Andy had a second mechanic that went on emergency leave because he had a sick family member so the truck took 2 days longer than promised. As soon as the second mechanic left (Monday I think), Andy's office called and informed me that the truck would be delayed because the second mechanic had to leave the area. I still gave them an A for punctuality because this was no fault of Andy's and they communicated the delay early and effectively. They have great communication and call to give updates on the maintenance. I have never seen a mechanic be so transparent which really I appreciate.
Feeling bad for delivering late, Andy charged my AC system for free and now my AC blows as cold as it did when it was new.
This is the 3rd mechanic I have seen in the Hampton Roads area and Andy has definitely been the best so far.
