All Forms Construction

I was very displeased with All Forms Construction for several reasons. Darrell (the company's president) rarely showed up when he said he would. If he's not going to show up, he simply stops answering his phone. One time, he didn't answer his phone or show up for three weeks. Our stress level during this time was through the roof, as we didn't know if he'd simply disappeared with our money. Eventually, he showed up again, acting like nothing had happened. He told us the project would take from six to eight weeks. It took over six months. Don't count on his crew to seal any rooms if they're cutting wood or tearing out fireplaces. Dont' expect them to pick up their nails, their insulation, any wrappers or boxes. He said he background checks all of his subs, but that wasn't true. We picked out the kitchen cabinets we wanted, and we told him upfront which ones they were. He insisted on hiring someone to make custom cabinets that would look the same way the "box" cabinets we picked out would look, only they'd be better. We trusted him, and when the cabinets arrived at our place, they looked nothing like what we'd picked out. At that point, it was too late to do anything and we're stuck with a different version of our "dream kitchen." When it came time for the final payment, Darrell found several misc. charges that had never been mentioned to us previously and tacked them onto the bill. After we paid him off at the end of the project, we received notice from an attorney that a lien had been placed on our home by one of the subcontractors because Darrell hadn't paid him. This is common procedure when this happens, I've since heard. We paid Darrel in August and the lien is *still* on our home now in January. We had to file a complain with the Department of Contractors, who launched an official investigation into what happened. Eventually, Darrell paid the subcontractor, but we still have the lien on our home. We had to hire a lawyer to wade through everything that happened. During this process, I called the other subcontractors to make sure Darrell had paid them. He hadn't paid several of them, and had lied to them and said that we hadn't paid him yet. I highly recommend to people NOT to use this company.

They are terrible. Derrell Lowe is the president of the company. You should stay away from this company, they are rip off artists. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
