The installation process went great. They came in the morning at the expected time and completed the work at the expected time. They wore booties throughout the home and covered the work areas with a blanket. Answered any questions I had and also checked the condition of the other HVAC units as part of the installation process. Will definitely recommend them and plan to use them for any future installations!

AC turned on immediately once problem was identified. The technician could have jerked us around and made up a problem to charge more but didn't. He honest about the problem when identifying the issue as a quick and easy fix. I will be hiring After Hours Heating & Cooling again.

Well this past weekend our furnace went out. Found After Hours Heating & Cooling on Angie's List. Called the number and was told that someone would be out as soon as possible. We Brian came and diagnosed the problem right away. But he could not get the part until The next day. But all in all very good experience and we are very satisfied. Thanks Brian.

We found After Hours through Angie's List. Came out the same day. Diagnosed problem within minutes. Brian was professional, knowledgeable and honest. He showed me the broken part and got our heat working within an hour. Extremely impressed with the entire company. Connie was so nice on the phone. She called before and asked if technician could arrive earlier than scheduled, which was great! Highly recommend and will use them again in a heartbeat.

After Hours Heating and Cooling was wonderful. They exceeded my expectations. They were the second company I had come out and look at my heater. The tech Brain was awesome. He was here on a Saturday and was willing to try to unclog the heat exchanger right then and there, unlike the first company. The price was very reasonable. Everyone I spoke to at the company was great. They will be the only HVAC company I use from now on. Extremely happy .

In a nutshell, I'm very pleased with the company and my purchase. Brian was the technician that recently came out to check and service the system. This package includes 4 cold air return filters each visit. I had just replaced ours about a week prior, so Brian just left them with me for future use. He arrived at the stated time and got right to the furnace. He said that overall my furnace was in very good operating condition. However, it's a dual burner and the second burner was slow to ignite so he cleaned out the gas feed line from the first to second burner and all was well. He also discovered that someone had disconnected the electric to the emergency gas shutoff switch, likely because the switch was bad. I can replace that and reconnect, but I would have never identified that it wasn't functional. That is why you have skilled personnel maintain your important systems and not wait until it doesn't work. The A/C unit is original to the property (~15 yrs) so I talked to him about replacement cost and different levels of efficiency and the cost for that efficiency. He checked the refrigerant in the A/C unit and said it was down a little, but as long as it was working fine he recommended waiting until spring to supplement/fill so I wouldn't have to do it twice (saving me $$$). Brian was very easy to talk to and answered my questions without a hint annoyance - very helpful. I'm extremely pleased with the cost, service and punctuality of Brian and this company. There is nothing that needs improvement that I could tell the company. A++

It went very well. Brian was very personable and friendly. He suggested that the condenser coils may need cleaning because the ac condenser was making weird noises but there was no guarantee how long if the condenser will continue to work properly. He did a thorough inspection of my crawl space and inspected the duck work and boots for any leaks or loose connections. He found that the boots were not insulated as required by code. He gave me a fair estimate for replacing the gas pack unit and insulating the boots. I will definitely give him a call when it is time to replace my gas pack unit.

Brian showed up ,and explained what i was told by a prior tech that my system probably had a short somewhere in my attic system ,brian went up identified the problem as a shorted out disconnect ,didn't have the part on hand left went to home depot got the part come back installed it all in a very professional manner

I was impressed from the start through the finish of the job. I called one evening when the AC went out. They had a technician at my house within an hour to diagnose the problem. He informed me that parts were needed and they would get them the next day. As promised the parts were obtained and the repairs were made the following day. I was well informed at each step of the process and everyone I dealt with (two technicians and the front office) was polite and professional.

Perfect! They were fast and efficient. Brian was awesome to work with.

The outside unit of my heat pump would intermittently quit working during cold days this winter. After Hours Heating and Cooling evaluated my heating system. They determined that the refrigerant was overcharged. The refrigerant charge was reduced to the proper level. My heat pump has been working properly since After Hours Heating and Cooling repaired my system.

Showed up on time and coordinated well with my tenants. Assessed that the HVAC had no lead and that the water that leaked on my ceiling most likely came from rain coming under the roof cap during a windy storm.

I called After Hours at 7:30 this morning. They came out by ten on a Saturday, which was already a plus. Our problem was that our furnace blower had gone bad. They identified the problem, didn't try to upsell me into getting a new blower (which would have been 3x the part cost), got the part even though it was Saturday, and fixed it by 3:30 in the afternoon without charging a premium because it was the weekend. In addition, the technician was friendly and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I called and David came in-between jobs as I was down the street. He diagnosed a clog, fixed it and I had heat . Great service, he didn't up charge me and I was expecting it. Use these guys as I will call no one else.

My home insurance sent out After Hours Heating & Cooling. I don't know if it was $500 or $700 because there were a couple of components that needed replaced.

After Hours is a small and very responsive provider. They arrived to diagnose the problem the afternoon I called. Upon opening the furnace it was clear to see that the blade on a blower assembly had disintegrated. After Hours contacted the Trane parts distributor in Chesapeake and learned they did not have the blade but did have the assembly. I decided to replace the whole thing in order to get the heat back on. After Hours immediately took off to get the thing and a half hour later were back and completed the repair. The price charged was very fair with the call out fee about half of what others charge and a fair mark-up on the part. A very honest and capable provider. I will use them again when the next heating or air conditioning problem comes up.

I called Saturday morning and Bryan showed up mid-afternoon as promised. He checked a few things, narrowed the cause to two potential problems, fixed the cheaper of the two and the problem persisted so he went with the more expensive fix.

Brian was amazing. He showed up half hour early, was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. His attitude was awesome and he definitely knows what he's doing. He will triple check everything to make sure everything is working the way its supposed to. The main reason why my heat pump wasn't working was because of the Nest thermostat I had installed was bad. I still had the old one so I swapped it out and it ran like a champ. I will definitely be calling After Hours for future business. I highly recommend After Hours Heating and Cooling.

I'm impressed. Contacted Brian at 8:30 pm. Left a message. He called back within 5 minutes. Made appointment to be at my house between 2 and 6 pm the next day. Called at 2:15 to say he was on the way. Arrived in 30 minutes. My 9 year old A/C was underperforming. He diagnosed low Freon almost immediately. Talked to me about my options and I chose the servicing route. 3 lbs of Freon later and my system was working like new. What really impressed me is that all this took place during hottest days of this summer when most HVAC businesses are backlogged. I'll use their services again.

The price I was charged was NOTHING compared to the relief they brought. Imagine calling after 7 p.m. upon realizing how high the temperature had gotten in my home, and having them answer the phone. We talked briefly and they were upfront about how their schedule for the night was impossible but they would try. I texted my address and included how hot it was. I received a call back within 15 minutes saying someone was on the way. Tony arrived in less than the projected time, and we were enjoying the cooler air shortly thereafter. He was skilled, professional and just a really nice person. MANY thanks to all involved. I'm not easily impressed but I was tonight.

He is honest, prompt, and has great follow through. Doesn't charge extra, only does what needs to be done. One time I had to call for work after hours and he was willing to come by and help still.

He was trustworthy. He was highly recommended by a friend of mine. He told me to pay when he is done. He came out as promised. He said he it will take him the whole day and it took him all day. He got it done quickly. I helped him with the attic.

AC coil went bad. Brian came out and diagnosed it quickly and was able to determine the part was under warranty.

He did a great job from the inspection, through installation of a new system. We are cool and happy now.
