An hour after my custom concrete deck was poured, the grade crew arrived to level my yard. On my security camera, I watched one of the crew members walk across the obviously wet concrete and leave 13 footprints in it. For 9 months I have been strung along with promises of fixing the concrete, and nothing has happened. My concerns have been ignored and neglected. I spent more than 70k on a project, one of their employees ruined the project, and the company has done nothing about it. I will no longer be using Aegean pools for my ongoing pool needs.

Aegean Pool has done an outstanding job. Due to the high demand of pools (Covid) had to wait nine months before construction began; however, when it started management and crew were on top of each step of the job demonstrating top level of professionalism and craftsmanship.

Would not recommend Aegean to anybody looking to do a pool. Crews are professional and do a good job (which is why they get a D and not a F) but management/organization is horrible. Even after pulling in customer service I'm still waiting for work to be completed (eight months and counting). I constantly had to chase down the project lead to follow up on work supposedly done (he lied repeatedly to his own company but they still keep him). Save yourself major headaches and go with a different pool company.

Not as promised. When we contacted twice after the installation was finally finished we did not receive return calls.

This is a liner that Aegean Pools installed a couple of years ago. The pool has been leaking since installation and increasingly worse as time goes on. They also installed a replacement coping track system when they installed the liner. I've had nothing but problems with it. It's attached by screws, and what I have been told by other pool maintenance companies, it should not have been used on polymer pool. It can't support the weight of the liner. Despite the fact that the problems are directly related to their install, they charged me for the repair. They don't stand behind their work!

I asked for a one stop shop, because I had previously bought the same size pool from Custom decks and spas, in Virginia Beach in 2000. They had a showroom, you pick out the pool you want, you see it with everything so there are no surprises. They even provided the contractor that built the deck around it. Aegean pools, however, Carl, sat down with us at his store, showed us a sample of the wall construction of the pool we wanted to buy. He also showed us sample liners. We said we wanted the same size as what we had before. I asked if they had a finance program, but he said we were 200 dollars short. I said I could order extras accessories, but he said he didn't advise us to do that, he would rather have us pay in full up front which we did. Looking back I wished I had of financed it. Carl, the assistant manager, then told us the installation was separate charge. An additional cost. He recommended Eagle Merchants, and gave us their price sheet. An additional 1800.00 for installation of the size pool we ordered: 18x33. Carl then asked if we could pick up the equipment via our own vehicle. I said that was not practical for us. He delivered it July 2nd. He is not good at communicating with the customer after the sale. We never heard from him after the sale. Items were missing when Bob, from Eagle merchants installed the pool, July 7th, so there was a delay in completing installation by a few hours. We had to return to the store later to pick up other missing items already paid for. Eagle Merchants tried to bill us extra 500.00 in addition to the 1800.00 already charged for installation because of the type of pool we ordered but this was never mentioned to us until the pool was completed, nor was it on the price sheet given to us from Carl. Cathy, a representative from Eagle Merchants said in a voice mail to us that it was because the pool design was semi-inground, but the pool was not installed as semi-inground. All the boxes, pallets, packing material was left for the customer to dispose of. The sand filter was filled with sand by Eagle Merchants, but the drain valve was left open, so when the pool was filled with water and the filter was primed, the water leaked out along with an unknown amount of filter sand. One of the hoses was also not tightened. The yard was torn up from the bucket loader used to level the sand for pool installation. Electricity for the pump was also the responsibility of the customer, and had to be hired separately. No ladder is provided for this pool, we ordered that separately.

Rico Soria is a very nice man. He came out and walked around in the rain to give me some advice on some pool repairs. He is very personable man. He gave me some good information on what I need to do with the pool. He also gave me an estimate on if we want to fill in the pool how much that would cost.

Tron and James are exceptional representatives of Aegean Pools. I will ask for them by name in the fall when I have the pool closed. They were punctual, professional, personable and above all they cared about ensuring that all of my pool servicing needs were met and exceeded.

The sales woman was great at selling. I had done my research and knew what I wanted and she said she could deliver. Internal fighting within the company pushed the construction back weeks and weeks. They brought the pool in while I was away and it was wrong color. Downhill from there. One thing after another. The company finally sent a customer service person out months later. Bad experience.

I came home to broken valve handle, leaking filter (not sealed properly), gizmo left in the water intakes, pieces of my pool liner connections in the bottom of the pool, and lots of leaves/grass dragged into the pool. It also wasn't clear if DE had been added to the filter and the company did not call me back for several days and they didn't know for sure either but asked me to make an assumption based on the valve setting. They sent someone out several weeks later to check the system as it was requiring constant backwashing and he reported one valve was too tight. The problem continued and they said it must be a dirty filter (even though they had just cleaned it at opening) and sent someone out to do that but at my expense since I must have failed to properly maintain the water. The filter worked right for about a week but is again requiring constant backwashing. Aegean tested my water after the filter clean and the water needed only minor adjustments so that is not the problem. The service and the retail are separate companiesand you have to deal with them seperately. Although the retail people are usually very nice and knowledgeable, the service side are rude, don't call back, and won't take responsibility for things that are done wrong.

We bought a house with a pool, that had a floating liner. The source of the problem was unknonwn. We asked Aegean to take out the old liner and try to evaluate, what was causing the problem and estimate the fix for the problem. We ultimately wanted a new liner with the problem resolved. They sent a crew over to take out the liner, but they had no experience in troubleshooting floating liners and just glossed over the problem, by saying it was probably a tear in the liner. They installed a new liner and left with the hoses, filling up the pool. It promptly started to rain and within hours the new liner was floating. When I called to talk about the new problem, the manager told me, they did not fix floating liners. After some 'convincing' they did come back and fix the liner again, but still did not pinpoint the problem. We ended up having to find someone else, to fix the problem, which cost another $1000 and entailed pulling back the new liner.

They were the builders of the pool and it was fair to say that they have been very accommodating to us. We liked to have them out to pull the cover and set it up for us because they were so convenient. No matter what our needs may be, simple or major, we were confident they could take care of them and get it done right.

This company did a pretty good job on the pool. The concrete and the landscaping were good around the pool. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. They did follow ups to make sure everything was working correctly. The B grade was a good grade to me.

These people did an awesome job. They did every little thing my way and I was real picky about things. Aegean met and exceeded my expectations. They were the absolute best. I would never use anyone else. They were hardworking and careful to detail. They did an absolutely beautiful job on my pool.
