Battery was replaced in our driveway and no one was late for work that day. The car didn't have to sit in a garage all day while the battery was replaced. We knew that the battery needed to be replaced and did not just need a jump. The service man was at our house 30 min after we called great service.

It was fast, prompt and cheap. They were helpful. They took care of me when I walked in.

I left messages with Suoervisors at AAA Main Office - Kyle Loftis and also Alsely. Probably will not get them to return the call till Monday. At this time I plan on taking the car to Goodyear to get the tires fixed. A very important part of the repair not mentioned but added to the estimates is a four wheel alignment since two tires will be replaced. That cost equals $89.95. Balancing goes with new tire install.

AAA Car Center of Chesapeake has thousands of our dollars since they had been our go-to place for repairs for all four of our cars. After today, they will never earn another penny from our family. We shouldn't have to take cars in two to four times to have one problem fixed not fixed. Also we were needing repairs on things we don't even notice until after they "diagnosed a problem." Save your money. Plus it will be faster taking your car elsewhere for repairs than this AAA car care center.

They diagnosed the problem to a blown intake manifold gasket, which is exactly what I suspected. They were very thorough diagnosing the problems and making repairs. Car was completed faster than promised. They are very profession. Estimates are up front. They really try to help you keep your car in the best shape while keeping the cost reasonable. When I research the problem and saw what others had paid for a similar repair, mine was much cheaper. Price in the review also reflect other work. Service writer is excellent, she does a great job dealing with the customers.

You don't have to pay for anything unless you go over the limit. I got a really good deal. I have been with them for years and I have never had a bad service call.

My husband has been satisfied. I don't think they would do anything I don't need. I would go back to them in the future.

It's not so good experience lately. I would use them in the future.

The place was loaded with customers but they finished my oil change in a very reasonable amount of time.

I have been going to the AAA Care Center Norfolk since April 2006. I bounced around to several different auto repair service centers for a few years before I discovered AAA. The work they perform has always been flawless but I feel their greatest attribute is their genuine honesty.

A few examples:

- Service engine light illuminated on my wife's volkswagen. AAA checked it out and told me "bad news, good news". The problem was the catalytic converter. They said that the replacement cost would be $1200. The good news: even though the car's manufacturer warranty expired, there was some sort of extended warranty on the converter. AAA told me to take the car to a volkswagen dealer and they should replace it for free. I doubt any other service center would have done the same thing.

- While waiting in the customer lounge, a rep approached an elderly woman to confirm she wanted an oil change. She said that she did. The rep said that she was just there last month and didn't need an oil change. He then told her that they were going to top off all fluids, do a quick inspection and there would be no charge.

- My car had a vibration coming from the engine. AAA told me it was an engine mount. They knew that I was planning to keep the car for only another year or so. They did not recommend changing the engine mount and told me to keep my money. The car would pass another inspection and it was still safe to drive.

I could go on with more examples...there are so many!

I could probably find someone who does cheaper work but I won't: the honest service means a lot to me.

I really like the AAA Auto Care Center's service because I have had some not so great experience with some of the local dealers, especially if we go in towards end of the month, they would pitch in for some fairly minor repair, over-priced, but AAA they are very good at explaining what the problem is. If they spot things, they let us know about them. They are not pressuring. They even suggest what needed to be done next. I always feel like I am informed, but not pressured.

They're customer service is great! They are more trustworthy than the dealership.

They remind me of those window washers who come up to your car to wash your windows and then expect to be paid for work that you specifically did not ask for. Early in the morning I told them not to look at the car once I found out the price.
