John Sweeney and his crew and equipment arrived on schedule. The job was scoped and estimated the middle of February 2018. The work date could not be established until the ground behind my back yard was dry enough to allow access of the equipment without leaving depressions/damage. The original job was completed in about 2 hours (cost $640). I added on a smaller job which took about 1/2 hour (cost $150). The work was performed safely and in a timely manner followed by a good clean up. In the process of trying to finalize a work date I experienced great and frustrating difficulty in having John return my numerous phone calls to his office over an 8 day period.

I am super happy with the service. I would recommend Atlantic Tree Service to anyone. Very professional.

Buyer beware!!!!!!John is a set talker that really only looks out for himself it was so bad when we were talking one time I had to tell him to quit talking and let me talk ..John is in a hurry to get paid and that's it..it took him 3 weeks to show up because he needed to vacation in Costa Rica however , the day he was "finished" with the work he called me at 9 pm to get paid even though he told me I could mail the check in and by the way he charges a fee to pay with a credit card.. more importantly a tree branch was dropped on my pool and a piece of my wood fence was broke ..I called John Sweeney to explain that a branch had been dropped in my above ground pool causing the pool liner to subside from the pool tracks that hold the liner in the wall of the pool and of course he said he talked to his guys and they said nothing was dropped on the pool which I had before and after pictures of the fence not broke and then after the service it was broke and I took pictures of the pool but he swore that his guys didn't drop a branch however,he also claimed he would be in my yard the day the work was being done by calling me randomly and saying he was going over to my house to do work ..when I complained about the branch falling on my pool he didn't place himself at my house.. well he said I will come over in a week to look at the pool which I knew he wouldn't and he didn't do I called a week later and left a message to see if he was still coming and it has been 2 weeks and I haven't heard from and I'm sure he want make good on this .and after reviewing previous quotes for cutting my branches down and leaving them in the yard he is well over priced ..I guess those trips to Costa Rica don't pay for themselves!!!!!

They did a good job. It was pretty expensive to me. They had to bring in one those buckets to get the job done because they are tall trees. So I guess that is what the extra was about. I had some dangerous branches from a storm that came through. It took them quite a while to do it and a couple of trips. There were about 4 people who came to do the work. They left it fairly clean. They could work on really judging the job a little bit. I got him to come out here before everything to look it over. Then when he gets up here he tells me I didn't tell him about some extra limbs that were hanging. I said, I brought you out here to estimate the job and look at so that's your responsibility. All I knew was what I saw from the ground, same as him. They got it done in a timely manner.

Wonderful! Ray and his crew are top-notch! The owner, Ray, returned my phone call and did an estimate promptly, gave a reasonable estimate and was very professional. When I thanked the workers for a job well done, they actually thanked me for the work!

First let me say I contacted several services to remove the tree. These guys won the bid by default because after a few weeks of trying to hassle the competitors, only Atlantic Tree service showed up for a quote. I had no expectation of a time frame or any urgency for my job. I will say that it took all in all about a month to get quote and the job done and there were a few scheduling delays. It took a week or two to get the quote after I contacted them initially. Then after I accepted the quote it took a few more weeks to finish the job. In fairness, I sat on their quote for about three weeks waiting on other quotes which I do not hold against them and could have factored into the time line. When they showed up the tree was quickly cut down and removed and the yard was thoroughly raked. Due to rain the grinding of the tree stump couldn't be performed that day. I talk to the owner and he told me I could mail him a check after the work was completed, but I wanted to pay him upfront to avoid any hassles later. He assured me that the work would be completed and about a week later he kept his word. I am super happy with the service. I am more interested in dealing with a company that has integrity than getting it done quickly. I would recommend Atlantic Tree Service to anyone.

The crew was courteous, quick and efficient. I asked for additional work to be completed that was not on the original estimate and the team was willing to take care of the work for me. All of the tree service, debris removal and cleanup took about 4 hours. I gave a B for punctuality only because the crew did not arrive at the agreed upon start time (7:30am) and I didn't receive any notification that the crew was delayed or stuck in traffic. I would have given an A if someone had called or texted me that the team was running late; a validation that they knew they were expected to be at my house at 7:30.

Very professional and cleaned up the area where work was being performed. Even laid plywood down where front loader was running to prevent damage to grass. Took about 4 hours, even with last minute change to work performed

Ray's crew of 4 men completed the work in just over 1.5 hours. The crew was very safety conscious and they worked well together. I would definitely use their service again.

The 3 man crew from A Atlantic supervised by James arrived on time as scheduled and the entire crew busted their butts on two sunny and hot days to systematically limb and then cut up the large trunks into 5 foot sections and remove them from my property. James is a master with a chain saw and all the large limbs and tree trunks were removed without damaging any of the large Waxleaf Lagustrum bushes that were planted below the pine trees. The tree stumps were stump grind by a sub contractor soon thereafter. I could not be more pleased with the tree removal service provided by the A Atlantic staff.

My neighbor highly recommended Atlantic Tree Service as they had done some work in her home. Ray returned my call and provided a quote for taking out this burdensome pine tree in our front yard.  Their crew came out right on time and took the tree down to the stump with no problems.  I truly appreciate their respect for my property and the condition they left the work site.  Top Notch all the way.  I would definitely recommend them!

It went great. John arrived to give me a quote the same day I called him, and worked us into his schedule very quickly.  All the workers were very professional, did a great job, and left my yard spotless.  They were also less expensive than the other 3 quotes I obtained.  We will definitely hire them the next time we need to do any tree work.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the services from A Atlantic Tree Service. They arrived on time and did a professional job. They cleaned up all debris and you could hardly tell they had taken a 75 ft tree down! The workers were very friendly and professional as well.

Ray came by a few weeks prior to the trimming and discussed the best way to prune large trees and give our yard a little more sunlight.  He was extremely courteous and professional.  We agreed on a course of action and his team executed.  There was a time he spoke with us about rescheduling due to weather (rain) and we agreed on alternate dates that suited the weather and allowed for his crews to have some time off for spring break (so they could spend some time with their kids).  My kind of guy.  His crew was professional and performed their work with zero damage or disruption to our lawn.  A great company, a great owner, and a terrific crew!  I strongly recommend Atlantic Tree Service to anyone needing removal or trimming/pruning services.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the professional and courteous work done by the A Atlantic Tree three man  crew. We were quite amazed that such large overhanging limbs could be removed without damaging - or even touching - 
underlying structure.  Each cut was done with precision and rope placement, as well as careful help of the guys on the ground assured a safe job.  The crew was very careful to be sure that we were satisfied and conferred with us often during the job about which tree limbs we wanted removed.  They also brought their expertise to these decisions and guided us in the final cuts. If this weren't enough, they helped move lawn furniture, chipped a driveway full of debris in minutes and then cleaned up with raked and blowers.
This is a good company with competitive pricing.  We highly recommend them!

All went well. We scheduled this at a busy time after a storm, so understood any delays. We did have a small miscommunication regarding the last stump grind-out. I think John (boss) thought his crew had completed it, but they had not. We cleared it up when I sent a photo of the remaining stump. Once that was complete, no problem.

We could not have been happier with the services provided by A Atlantic Tree Service.  We got estimates from three companies, and Ray was the only one who was considerate enough to call or knock on the door before entering our backyard.  He also was the only one who took the time to estimate the job correctly and actually listen to what we wanted.  The others wanted to do it their way with no concern for damage to our yard.  The poplar tree that we had removed was in a very tight space.  It was surrounded by a shed, fence, concrete walkway, landscaping, and very near our pool.  Ray and his crew used rope to carefully lower each limb and each section of trunk to the ground.  Then each piece was carted to the street and hauled away.  They even did an excellent job of cleanup by raking and blowing off the concrete walkways.  They performed very professionally and left the yard in perfect condition.  I would highly recommend A Atlantic Tree Service.

This was an amazing process.  Price was much lower than other quotes, but I felt comfortable as I had used this service in the past.  The arrived on the day scheduled and within 2 hours they had removed the tree and left the lawn in the same condition as before they had arrived.

They were okay. They did a reasonably good job. They had a subcontractor come in because they don't grind down the stumps. They were recommended to me. The price was okay. We had a streak of bad weather so they were backed up on doing the work. I might use them again.
