Did two fact finding visits. After the second visit a promised email didn't appear, but a phone call got everything moving again. All the stoves Wooden Sun sells are high quality, and the price reflects the quality. The installation by Dwayne and Cindy was clean, quiet, competent, and efficient. Definitely recommend.

The company was quick to respond to my email request and came out a few days later and did the work. They called once and rescheduled because of rainy weather but showed up as scheduled. The two man crew were polite, professional, and took time to explain the process to me.

Chimney sweep went fine. They did not have piece on the truck that was needed so they told me what I needed and I went and purchased and fixed myself.

Excellent. Very professional interactions. They took time in advance to understand our job by asking us to send pictures, and asked questions about the age, construction, height, accessibility and time since last sweep. They even called us to tell us they had a cancellation and could do our sweeping sooner than originally scheduled. Two men arrived on time, very professional, careful and very neat. No problems - all went as expected. Would definitely recommend this company again.

"I am sorry our prices did not fit your budget. Our philosophy is to train our workers to the highest industry standards and to have them certified in their fields. This is not a legal requirement, and many companies choose to save a lot of money by skipping this. For example, we took 6 employees to Nashville this spring for 4 days to attend the training classes offered by the National FIreplace Institute and to take certification exams. We are putting a fire in your house and we want to make sure everything is right. We also pay our employees living wages so that they do not have to scrape by and take second jobs. We provide free health insurance for full-time employees,and have an IRA program with matching funds. Even our entry level employees make significantly more than minimum wage. The technician was friendly, professional, prompt, and took adequate time to make sure the job was done right and all our questions were answered. The company offers a Saturday morning service (not too common!) to accommodate working people (wish that had even more Saturdays available). The technician was not there to sell us anything we did not need; he did exactly what we asked in the more professional way.

The Wooden Sun technicians were prompt and courteous. I always dread having fireplaces cleaned because of the dust but there was none! We also asked them to diagnose a problem we are having with smoke blow-back in one of our chimneys. They are working on the issue now so I don't know how that will be resolved. Nevertheless, at this point we are impressed with their professionalism and approach.

Both were installed quickly with only minor hiccups. I did have to coerce them to make a site visit prior to the installation to try avoiding such problems. They did not want to change the length of the fan cord on the insert so that looks tacky. Otherwise, both installations look and function great. The minor hiccups were dealt with very well.

They were excellent. The price was reasonable. They were professional. They actually left the work area very clean. We were getting a wood stove serviced and they actually cleaned the door of the stove so it looked like it was brand new. The work went great.

The vendor has a semi-automated scheduling system, apparently. However, it wasn't up to snuff when I called. Requesting a human scheduler for a serice call, I was assured my request would make it into the system as they would input it manually. However, I didn't hear back for almost a month. Eventually, they did call, explaining it was a back office mix-up. Fortunately, it was not an urgent requirement in that the weather was just beginning to turn warm. When they finally called to make an appointment, they did show promptly as promised. Neat and efficient, if somewhat taciturn, they began their nispection and worked silently and effectively, isolating the problem as a burned out thermocouple. They explained when I asked how this happens and simply replaced the item. They then asked if I wanted my unit cleaned and the and quot;ashesand quot; tidied. Upoin finishing all that, they policed the area and left it as clean as it was upon their arrival.
I requested a short tutorial on the system to enable me to light and turn off the appliance, and they provided a short, practical ldemonstration. Not the most sociaable team, they do get credit for being efficient and effective, which are, after all, more important in this exchange.
I would certainly use them again, though I'd be a bit more peristent on the front-end scheduling.

They did a good job but it did take about 4 weeks to get the parts to repair the fireplace. They did not have the pipes on the truck to replace the stove pipe. I had asked if that could be done when they came back to fix the fireplace but when they returned they only fixed the fireplace and did not mention the wood stove.

The process began in December. My main issue with them is timeliness. I realize they are very busy at this time of year, but it has been a couple of months now and I'm still waiting. After two visits, I am now waiting for a part they had to order, but since that transaction occurred several weeks ago, I have not heard a word from them. The quality of their work seems very good, judging by the knowledge of the technician and the care he takes, but even with a busy schedule, they could keep me informed.
