Virginia Ecological Detailing

Have left several voice messages and never received return phone call. Contacted livingsocial who has agreed to provide credit 'bucks' . What amazes me is that there is another livingsocial deal currently running for this provider.

I was scheduled for my car to be detailed on Friday, August 30. The night before, Robert called me to change the appointment because they were backed up. When I returned his call, he was confused and didn't seem to know that I had an appointment the next day. Perhaps he'd already taken it out of his schedule, I dunno. We rescheduled for Sunday, September 1. I got everything out of my car that afternoon, but they never showed up and never called. I called them, and their voicemail was full. I couldn't leave a message. I tried again for several days; same thing every time. I finally went onto their Facebook page and saw postings he'd done that ALL of their vehicles were in the shop and that they'd be returning calls soon. I never got a call, and I finally got through and left a message. No response. A few days after that, they posted that one of their employees was killed in a motorcycle accident on the way home from work, so I gave it a few more days before trying again. Once again, voicemail was full. I eventually got through again several days later and left another message. AGAIN, no response. I also texted Robert since the business number is his cell phone. No response. I emailed him through Facebook. No response. Keep in mind, the detailing was already paid for. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even bothered after the no-show. After leaving one final voicemail with no response, we felt we'd done everything we needed to, and we called Living Social for a refund. They've had to issue deal bucks credits (it's too late for a refund) to several people reporting the same issue with this company. Yet they have a deal going on right now with them. I initially asked my husband for the voucher for my muscle car because I'd read about Robert's business and applauded what he was trying to do, both with an eco-friendly service and with helping young men get a chance with a good job. But he is extremely disorganized (which was confirmed by a friend who volunteered with him on a community project) and has absolutely no idea how to run a business. He needs to hire someone to handle the business side of things if he wants to keep it afloat.
