It wasn't good. When it came back, it had a spot on it. I needed to wear it in a day or two and I didn't have time to take it back to them or call them. This was the first poor experience with Rudy's.

We used Rudy's for decades. While the shirt pressing was not exceptional, it was good enough and the location was close to work. One day while traveling, my husband noticed the shirt he had packed had a large scorch on the front and fried ends of the collars. The shirt was too bad to wear. He inadvertently put the shirt in the dirty clothes bag and another cleaner washed and pressed it while he was traveling. They could not get the damage from Rudy's undone. When I took it to Rudy's to complain, they said the other cleaner's had done the damage. I disagreed and explained the travel that had intervened but they assumed I was lying. This after coming there for decades! So I said I would have trouble using them in the future. So they took the clothes we had there and threw them out! My husband called them to see if his clothes were there and they reported they threw them out because I had said I would have trouble using them again. So they destroyed hundreds of dollars of my husband's property, knowing full well how to get in touch with us.

"As employee then owner of rudys for 26 years I handled the member's complaint. She returned a shirt to my business with a large stain on it saying we had caused. The shirt had a tag on it from another cleaners. Our policy is that any returned items must have a receipt and rudys tag still attached. She had neither.Because she had been along time customer I agreed to try removing the stain at no charge.The stain would not move ,she felt I should replace the shirt ,I disagreed. Many months later I realized the member had an order they had not picked up.I left a message on their voice mail that we still had the order and it needed to be picked up..After the items (3 shirts 1 pants) were left for over a year I disposed of them as I would do anyone else .Our claim slips clearly state we are not responsible for items left over 30 days."
