Description of Work: I called about a Tennant of mine in Charlottesville who was at home with a sick child and the he heat had quit. The receptionist at Robertson said they were booked for the day but if I wanted to pay overtime they would come out for $131 for the initial visit (and if i remember correctly) between $40 & $50 per 15 minutes after that PLUS a 10% Fuel Surcharge, this when fuel costs were the lowest in recent memory. I .obviously felt I was being ripped off and called Albemarle Heating and Air who agreed to come out for a much more reasonable price and, of course, no FUÈL SURCHARGE.

Description of Work: Replaced fill valves for two commodes, replaced pipes under one kitchen sink, checked and tested pipes under another kitchen sink and two bathroom sinks.

Description of Work: We had a Service Contract with Robinson for over 10 years. We were very happy with their service. They were always on time and very professional. |The only reason we did not use them for our new unit was price.

Description of Work: Fixed broken outside receptacles, repaired bathroom lights, attic fans, attic light. I kept discovering new problems when getting house ready to sell which is why they had to come 3 times. Each visit was handled speedily, knowledgeably, and courteously. I highly recommend!

Description of Work: Repaired a leaking heat pump. Said it needed to be replaced and recommended doing it as soon as possible. Consulted others in the business and determined it was an exaggeration. We did end up replacing it a year later, however, it still functioned well.

Description of Work: Replaced a broken drain pipe under the basement by taking the line above ground inside the house in a non-visible way to the outside through the wall, and then made a connection to the main drain line underground outside, thus avoiding digging up the concrete basement floor.
