I worked with a terrific designer, Krystol, and Bob the contractor was wonderful as well. The whole experience was as positive as can be. I couldn't have been happier. When the cabinet installer noticed that my floor was sloping slightly and Krystol was pout here the very next morning to tell me how they were going to fix this and they did. All contractors and sub-contractors were very respectful of my home and keeping things clean irt was a great experience overall

The sales person was professional and easy to work with. We brought in a design as a starting point. He offered options. The installer was also professional.

Everyone was very professional.  The store is easy to  find selections and very helpful sales people.  Everyone is pleasant and gives good advice.  The installation is perfect and I love the new granite look.

The finished job by the first installer was poor quality.  The mosiac tile was uneven.  It was not centered in the wall.  It had uneven gaps in each corner.  The block tile in the shower was even rougher.  It too was not even and smooth.  There were parts of the tile that overlapped enough that you could look in the shower and see shadows under the tile.  The corners began to crack almost immediately.  As time passed, the crack became wider from ceiling to floor.  The tile did not join the pan.  There was about a 3 inch gap between the tile and the pan that was filled with caulking.  The job was horrible.  I could not finish putting down my hardwood floor in the adjoining room because the ceramic tile laid by the same installer did not extend the ceramic into the door threshold.  It was laid flush with the inside floor moulding.  I had been in communication with Reico about the quality of work.  The district manager and designer came in to review the complaints I had.  Their next step was then to have another bathroom expert come to look at the issues and to advise as to how to solve the multitude of problems this job had.  Then some time lapsed.  I then had a professional bathroom and tile person come to give me an independent review of the job done.  The corner that had a crack from ceiling to floor had nothing behind it in the corner.  He was able to put his knife completely thru the crack and not hit a solid.  Also further inspection showed that water was leaking thru the crack to the other side of the wall under the cabinet.  He also found a 3 inch gap at the shower threshold and the pan where water was able to leak behind it.  At this point, there was nothing else to do with the shower  but to rip it all out and start over.  This bathroom inspection was submitted to the district manager, Reico committed to redoing the mosaic and shower providing another company, one that I fully did a background check on the quality of their workmanship & job knowledge.  The shower stall was ripped out the findings were:  there was no .... no waterproofing behind the tile, the durrock in the corners did not overlap each other therefore the tile in the corner had no support and no waterproofing so iit leaked to the other side of the wall and last but not least ... when the pan was pulled up, it came up.  There was nothing holding it to the floor so the pan moved which caused the caulking to pull apart and the plumbing to the drain was not completely sealed.  So not only did they dig the concrete up to move the plumbing over to meet the pan, the installer did not fill in the hole and set the pan over the hole which the plumbing leaked water under the shower pan into the red dirt.  BUT Reico made it good in the end.  They led me to a professional installer and reimbursed me the moneys to redo the shower.  At the end of this .... TODAY 4/8/13 ..... months later the job has been done well.  My bathroom is beautiful!   I do recommend that if you use Reico or anyone else for that matter, be sure to do a background check on the installers they are using for your job.  Get references and call them!   I want to prevent anyone else from having to get the job done right the SECOND time. Reico made it good in the end; Reico wanted complete customer satisfication.

"We appreciate {Member name removed} honest and fair assessment. Things did not go well during the first installation but we were determined to make this right no matter what. {Member name removed} demonstrated great patience and understanding throughout and we are grateful that we were able to work together through it all to get her the bathroom she had envisioned."

Reico's involvement with this project started approximately August 1, 2010, and ended about the end of January, 2011. Our own business and personal matters and the year-end holidays caused at least two months of delays throughout the project.  We did our own demolition and were ready for the construction part of Reico's work the week of September 6.  Reico's subcontractor sent an employee to do the floor replacement and some other prep work, then later a sub-subcontractor for drywall and all prep for tile, and the tile work itself.  Wall work seemed to go well but the tile installation and grouting had lots of problems.  We baby-sat with it as much as we could, but the end result was a very uneven and poorly finished tile job.  Reico's project manager came with the subcontractor and, without prompting, stated that she wouldn't have accepted this level of work for her house and it had to come out and be re-done.  Total agreement all around, no lame excuses, everybody stepped up to their responsibility.  A second tile contractor was hired by Reico, the tile was ordered and installed, and everything was done again, to our total satisfaction.  It is worth noting that the do-over revealed a completely inept job from the studs of the wall out.  The flooring and waterproofing proved to be totally inadequate and very likely would have caused serious problems for us in the not-too-distant future. To conclude, in our opinion Reico bears little responsibility for the errors in this job.  The subcontractor they used, a company that had given Reico good service in the past, certainly should have been much more hands-on in managing their installer, but accepted responsibility without a whimper. We had delays in completing the tile work through the Christmas holidays but in the end got a perfectly satisfactory job and didn't pay a cent more than the contracted price.  We believe Reico treated us completely fairly under the circumstances.
