and quot;QF AWESOMEand quot;. THESE TWO ADDITIONS HAVE NOTICEABLY INCREASED MY COMPUTER'S SPEED AND RELIABILITY.
ALL OF THE WORK WAS REMOTELY PERFORMED FROM THEIR FACILITY IN CHARLOTTESVILLE VIRGINIA TO MY HOME IN GILBERT ARIZONA.
"Thanks for the great review! It really makes my day to see this kind of feedback. I know you took your time to say these kinds words and fill out this review so completely, and I want you to know that they were heard and truly appreciated. Thanks again. :)"
"Thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm glad your laptop is running well. :)"
In total I made two visits and two phonecalls and met the two owners and one of their employees. They were uniformly helpful and knowledgable and seem to genuinely enjoy talking about computers with you.
"Thanks for your encouragement and kind words! You are a pleasure to work with. :)"
The inability to print and scan at home was really burdensome, so I finally decided to get help and found Quick Fix. I loved that I could make an appointment online through their website (which is full of good, detailed information) . Steve called me the same day to confirm the appointment and was at our house the next day at the appointed time. He quickly understood what I needed and tackled the problems. He explained what he was doing while he was doing it, which was most helpful. He dealt with me in a respectful manner without being condescending or assuming I could not understand him. My laptop was really sluggish and frustrating to use. He reorganized some of my files and cleaned-up the hard drive and did some of the work remotely later that night. He also helped with some security and and other maintenance issues I was experiencing.
Because Steve did such a great job, I can now print wirelessly from my laptop, iPad and iPhone. I can easily scan and send. And, it is now a pleasure to use my laptop which is once again fast and responsive. I told my husband this morning that it is such a weight off my shoulders to know that if I have a problem, I can call Steve who can either help me remotely, or can come to the house to help. I feel like I am in capable hands and will not hesitate to call if I need help.
"Thanks for your wonderful review! That really makes my day. :)"

"I think you are thinking of a different company, Member. I came to visit you on 6/19/2009 after you said you had a terrible experience with a tech that didn't solve your problem. I came to your home and determined that you had a defective internal network card. I replaced it. Norton Antivirus was making your PC take forever to boot up. We removed it and replaced it with AVG. I optimized and sped up your laptop and desktop. They were both working very poorly before I came. Then I setup your office network so that all of your computers could print to all of the printers. I did all of this in 2.5 hours (All of this info comes from my customer notes on the invoice). The extra costs were AVG Pro, my travel fee ($0.90 per mile), and the emergency fee you paid to see me before my other clients. You were very happy with the service when I left. The cost was not $380. You paid: 55.08 in travel, $200 in labor, $51.99 for AVG Pro version, and the optional $200 emergency fee so that you could see me same-day (+ tax). The total was $509.67... in July of 2009, you called me back to help with QuickBooks. We found your QuickBooks file, backed up your QuickBooks file, made it so that you could use QuickBooks from both of your computers and I showed you how to setup new users. I also installed an Uninterruptable Power Supply on your PC so that you would have less to worry about during storms and such. The total cost of the service + the UPS was $416.77. $55.08 for 61 miles of travel + $200 in labor + $153.99 for your UPS + tax. Again I remember you being very happy... The last time you came to us, it was with a malware infection. You brought your computer to us at our Pantops shop. We were swamped. We had 20 computers on the bench and an another 8-10 computers on the floor. I told you that unless you paid a priority fee to be moved in front of the people who were waiting, it would be about 2 weeks before we could fix it. This time you were disappointed, but you seemed to understand. We were just super busy. You decided to take your computer elsewhere instead of paying the priority fee or waiting. I certainly understand this. If you mistook us for another computer company, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please correct this review, Member. If this isn't a mistake, and you are truly disgruntled at our business, please let me know how and why. Thanks so much. Sincerely, Bryant Harrison."
"Thank you so much for your kind words. It really means a lot to me... really it means a lot to all of us at Quick Fix. Take care and don't hesitate to call or e-mail me if you have any more follow up questions. :)"
