"We make every effort to accommodate our clients' scheduling requests. Unfortunately we are not always able to arrive on projects on little notice. We made every effort to return to your project repeatedly to insure proper follow up regarding the product failure at your residence. We aim for 100% customer satisfaction. I'm sorry that our refund to you and additional follow up was not sufficient to prevent this additional review. Regards, Piedmont Paint"
The estimation phase went well; every aspect of the job was discussed to establish the homeowner's expectations. The resulting estimate was sufficiently detailed and the negotiated price was reasonable as I already suspected that the quality of work would be high, an important factor in our experience. There is no sense in getting a cut-rate price if a contractor is going to worry about making a profit and therefore tempted to cut corners.
Piedmont Paint kept us informed as to job start and progress every step of the way. They provided their expertise on paint selection and made value added recommendations. Their paint crew was prompt, courteous, and thoughtful in addition to being expert in their craft. They took deliberate care in the many drywall repairs required and prepped all surfaces appropriately. At the end of every day, they cleaned up and moved their work materials to one side.
During the final hours, the crew touched up the small number of areas that required added attention. They finished on-time and the job was completed just the way it was written up. It is refreshing to deal with true professionals who take pride in their work and their reputation. We highly recommend Piedmont Paint to any homeowner or business who values quality and professionalism.
It started with the prep work. I asked around for a company that I felt like would do the right prep. They spend 2 and half days prepping the house for paint. Re-caulked just about everything and used a special caulk that I wanted used. After the prep time they spent another 2 and half days painting. The house is only 1600 sq feet but it's 2 stories with a walkout basement. So the land slopes hard in the back. But they did a great job of putting 2 coats and making it look like there was no separation on the cedar siding. And they worked well with use to pick the right paint brand and stain colors. We tried a dozen different stains from Behr and B. Moore. We went with B. Moore but Piedmont was will to work with use on either.
And after all of this they did a great job on the cleanup. They had gotten some paint on the screens which they had to remove. It took several hours but they stuck at it. I would suggest you remove the screens first so its not an issue.
The only think that I gave Piedmont a B for is price. It was expensive compared to a few other quotes but the job was superior to anything I could have asked for. You get what you pay for and painting is no different than anything else. Don't hesitate to use they guys. Its worth it. I know I will call them back in 7 years to do it again.
Paint and Finish via an auction item that benefited the Building Goodness
Foundation. Charlie and William were
extremely professional. Even though I
was receiving their services ?gratis? I never felt like I was not a paying
customer. They went above and beyond by
making sure cracks were caulked and holes were patched to ensure a smooth,
professional finish. The two painters
arrived on time and finished the job on time even after having to deal with an
unexpected 2 hour power outage! I can?t
say enough good things about the services provided and would recommend Piedmont
Paint and Finish for any job large or small.
I am so glad I went with Piedmont Paint, the crew was fantatsic. They worked all day in 90 and 100 degree heat and scraped and painted for two weeks, Every night, the crew cleaned up their work. The crew leader was so easy to work with and was very responsive to everything we asked for.
We never expected as thorough of a job as we got, the place looks great. It was never any bother having them here for the two weeks on and off, and again, the job they did was fantastic.
At the completion of the project, on clean up day, the crew actually used a vacuum cleaner outside to get all the remaining paint flakes.
I would never hesitate to use this group again and can whole heartedly recommend them.
A week latter they started work on the windows. Given a poor design feature when the house was restored there was water damage in several windows which required work both inside and outside the house. On this project Charlie was in email contact with me on a daily basis. His crew leader, Rigo, was terrific. There was a lot of inside sanding and patching required in the formal part of the house and at the end of the project no one would have know of the repairs because there was no evidence of what went on. I should add, the lack of any mess was also evident in the ceiling repair. Plus the window work was also very well done.
I have used many of the providers listed on Angie's List. For the most part they do a good job. When someone does an exceptional job I think it is worth my time to write a review and let people know. Piedmont is a firm I highly recommend.
professional throughout the process, including maintaining timely and
transparent communication. We chose them specifically over other bidders mainly
due to their lacquering process for the cabinets. They spray lacquered the
doors and drawer fronts in their shop and painted the cabinet boxes on site.
William recommended a wonderful Benjamin Moore product for the cabinets and
they matched the color we wanted. The cabinets look amazing and we could not be
more pleased. Rigo was the foreman on our job, and he and his team were great
to work with, most accommodating of my requests, and very pleasant. PP and F
was great in accommodating the brand of paint I wanted. The walls, trim, and
ceilings were in custom colors and look really beautiful. We would definitely use
them again!
