From the first phone call this business provided  service that was professional, responsive and honest. I am not easy to reach by phone, but Margie persisted and went the extra mile to contact me and schedule an in-home pre-work consultation. Since their schedule was busy and I needed part of the work done sooner than they could accommodate, they gave me a referral for another company to complete one piece of my project.  They also made a recommendation for another company for grout work I needed done, because Joseph said this was not his area of expertise. I really appreciated these referrals- it saved me time and knowing Joseph had working relationships with these companies I felt confident they would do good work.
At our walk-through prior to doing the work, Joseph was thorough, helpful and informative. He took lots of time to ask questions, offer suggestions and review what I wanted done. He showed up on time, confirmed our appointments and followed up as promised. The estimate arrived in the timeframe he promised, and it was a reasonable price. All of the work was completed and looked great after it was finished. Joseph contacted me to confirm that I was happy with the work and returned to make a minor adjustment after we had some time to use the shower and check the leak.
This is one of the best customer service experiences I have had in a while- Joseph clearly takes pride in his work and I felt treated with consideration and respect by Joseph and Margie. I would absolutely recommend Noonan's Handyman Service and plan to work with them on future projects. 

Joe is an extremely competent handyman that takes pride in his work, which is evident in the quality of the finished product.  He is punctual, orderly and his work ethic is beyond compare.  He stays true to his work estimate and his pricing is very fair.  Joe makes sure that you are completely satisfied with his work before he leaves the work site.  Joe is definitely an A+ provider.

Outstanding. Well prepped and painted. Very neat job; all articles on porches carefully moved. They even cleaned out two areas under my rear porch. It was a substantial, week-long job. Performed excellently and for a fair price.

My upstairs deck was a mess. That's the one that had the tree hanging over it, which had to be pruned back. For the first time in years, I'm looking forward to spending some time there once the weather cools off. The back deck was a different sort of mess. I had had major work done because of a leaking basement. My back yard had been dug up next to the house, with the deck planks removed, and there was a deep, gaping hole right next to my back door for the entire winter. This meant rain, snow, sleet and every nasty thing was splattered up on the side of my house by the door. The workmen had replaced the deck planks, but the deck was in real need of help. Mr. Noonan did a beautiful job of cleaning and refinishing the deck itself, but the door and all along the side of the house looked permanently soiled. Although it was not a part of the original contract, he took on the challenge of finding something that would clean off that soiled portion. Power washing did not work, and neither did various cleaning agents. He refused to give up on it, finally finding a kind of cleaner/wax in his truck that made it all look like new. This was an added service but not an added charge. Every time I have used this service, there have been extra things here and there that he has seen and fixed. It is an amazing example of a man with the knowledge and soul of a craftsman and a wonderfully generous heart.
I would recommend this service to anyone, without hesitation.

Mr. Noonan quickly responded to our request to come see our property and provide a price quote. He came on the scheduled day right on time. He was very thorough and listened very well to our needs and provided a lot of expert advice on how we should approach what needed to be done. He was professional and you just got the impression that you could trust what he said and his work would be top notch. He was very honest that he was busy and that it would take a few months to work us in and that the work we wanted should really be divided into two jobs as deck staining should wait for cooler weather. His quote came on the date he promised and it was a detailed, itemized list of everything he was planning to do and how much each area of work was going to cost. We really appreciated the breakdown in case we needed to take some things off the list. He again told us it would be a few months and he would totally understand if we wanted to look for another contractor but we knew we wanted him to do the work. He got us on his books and followed up every few weeks letting us know he would be there on the date promised. He contacted us the weekend before to confirm his arrival and let us know his plan of attack for getting all the work done. He called the night before to let us know exactly what time he would arrive. The next day he and his workers arrived exactly on time, set up a tent and got their equipment ready while Mr. Noonan walked around the property confirming the plan. The work lasted four days and he and his crew arrived everyday at the time they said, checked in with us each day to make sure we were happy and cleaned up every night. He proposed some additional items to add to the repairs which we agreed to and he did them with very little increase to the budget. We don't think we could have found a better and more honest contractor or a more thoughtful crew. Extremely pleased and feel that everything that was promised was delivered and that the house looks better than we imagined it would. From the first phone call to the very last minute of work, we feel that Mr. Noonan's goal was to exceed our expectations and he did! We also needed landscape work done that Mr. Noonan no longer does, he helped us locate a good but reasonably priced landscaper, scheduled the appointment and came to the appointment to make sure we were getting what we needed at a good price!

Since my wife and I had used Joe Noonan's services before we expected that his communication with us would be excellent and it was.  He got back to me the same day I called.  We talked about what I needed and he set up 2 dates.  The first for him to inspect what needed to be done and the second for when he would do the work.  I sent him a list of things by email and he called back that same day confirming that he got it.  The days before the inspection and the work day he called to confirm that he was coming.  He came on time both days.  Each job was done neatly and he cleaned up as he went along. We could not be happier with the end result.  And the price was lower than I had expected.

Phoned several times to confirm date and time (since he was rained out twice), appeared on time, did what he said he would do in a professional manner--obviously took pride in his work and wanted us to be completely satisfied with what he did.
This is the 3rd time we've used Mr. Noonan, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Very highly recommended--you won't find better!

Excellent.  We have been working with Joe for years.  I have never meta more responsible handyman.

I needed to remove some old PVC drainage pipes and install over 100' of new PVC drainage from my gutter downspouts.  The new PVC needed a new trench.  Joe dug most of the trench using a power trencher which he rented for the day.  Parts of the trenching required digging by hand through hard clay soil hitting several tree roots that needed to be removed ... in the rain.  In the end, the project exceeded my expectations.
I have been using Joe's services for 10+ years.  I now don't even think of calling anyone else for my handyman services. I would highly recommend Noonan's Handyman Services.

It went well.  Mr. Noonan is a nice person to work with and to know.  He stays in touch and works until he gets the project looking right and as we mentioned this was not an easy project in an old house.  We appreciated his efforts and the finished project.

Joseph went out of his way to assist us in getting our deck repaired prior to inspection.  Not only is he skilled, professional and responsive, he's an all-around great guy!  Deck looks great and we're so appreciative of his help!  We would very highly recommend Noonan's Handyman for your home projects!

Had been about 10 years since last interior painting. Now that the kids are older, it was definitely time. There were gaps between the crown molding and ceiling, damaged door frames, and a few dents in the walls. Joseph and his crew were on time, clean, polite, and very organized. The process took about a week. They painted vents, and replaced my door hinges and locks to update the look.  My house looks brand new and very stylish. I'm very glad that I didn't just call some paint company. Joseph is SUCH a nice guy. The job was exceptionally well done, and Joseph is very easy to work with- very friendly and 100% professional. I would definitely call him again. 

Responded immediately to request, then set up a time for visit and estimate.  Set date.  Confirmed date in advance.  Came ready to work on set date.  Completed job in one day.  Total professional from beginning to end.  All work completed to great satisfaction.  We truly believe Joe (and helpers) can repair, fix or renew anything!  Highly recommend!!

The work surpassed our expectations in every way.  Joseph arranged for a special team of painters--Greg Weber and his team.  They did the best painting job we've had in our various houses in the past 30+ years.
  The paint required two coats, and the results were well worth the additional expense.
Joseph's work on the chair rail and in the kitchen gave a finished look that we've lacked.
  We especially valued the quality of the meeting we had with Joseph and Greg to set the details of the work to be done.  They inspected carefully, asked questions and made suggestions that improved the result, and gave clear answers about what was feasible in order to achieve what we wanted.
  Greg's team came on time, worked steadily throughout the day, and cleaned up well at the end of each day..  He was there to oversee the work personally for the first two days, and Joseph inspected the work carefully at the end of the job. 
  The original schedule was disrupted by one of the early 2015 snowstorms, so the work began a day late.  Nonetheless, it was completed on schedule because the painters put in extra hours and additional painters were added.
Although the price was higher than we had originally expected during our early planning, the results were well worth the expense.  We wanted excellent quality and that is what Joseph and Greg gave us.

Amazing!  Joe and company are always prompt, courteous, go above and beyond what is needed to get the job done.  He is impeccably organized, the quality of his work is above reproach, his prices are competitive.... I wouldn't use anyone else!

The work went well and very smoothly. The crew was polite and respectful. They protected our floors, carpets, furniture, and other belongings. They took pains to correctly replace the hardware they had removed. Noonan went the extra mile with a couple of needed repairs. The results were wonderful and we are pleased at the outcome.  Joe treated our home with the care he would treat his own home. We have scheduled him to do more interior painting in our house this summer.

Joe is simply the most conscientious person I have ever met. His scheduling system is a thing of beauty. He is punctual to the minute, delivers services on time, and if Joe says he'll be there or he will do a thing, you can set your watch by it and bet on that thing being done. It has probably been more than a year ago that we met Joe when he performed some repair work on a couple of our houses, yet when another customer had a need for some specialty services, (services that we provide), Joe remembered us for that connection, coordinated networking between the two parties, and even followed-up a week later. He simply goes above and beyond for his customers!

We've had Joe before, and he does superior work. He removed all pieces of dry rot around our window's exterior, replaced the rotten wood with PVC and built a new sill and nosecap. He saw there were large gaps between the brick ledge of our window and the window frame, so he put insulating foam in those places. A few of our bricks' mortar was crumbling, and Joe replaced with new mortar. He finished, caulked and painted the window frame when all repair work was completed. Additionally, he removed wood rot from part of our front door jamb, replaced it and weather stripped, caulked and painted that piece. 
Joe calls to set up an appt. to look at the work and estimate what is needed to be done. He calls a day or two before his appt. to do the work, to confirm. He shows up on time, works steadily and meticulously. He cleans the area to pre-work condition. He then calls after the work is completed to be sure we're completely satisfied. His communication is outstanding.
We have another large window that has the same problems, and we wouldn't think of hiring anyone else to do the job.

Mr. Noonan was prompt and on time for his appointments.  He was friendly and professional and his prices were reasonable for the work performed.  As is the case with many good contractors, he had a full schedule but fit us in when he knew he would have the time, and as promised, completed the job in one day.

We will definitely be contacting him again soon.

.It went great. Joseph is pretty busy, but we got things scheduled within a few days of my contacting him. He showed up early. Got it all taken care of. Everything looks great. I feel better with that tree branch trimmed away from my roof.

Mr. Noonan ran into some trouble with the side screen door (rotten wood) but he was resourceful and was able to repair it. Everything looks like new and is working well.
