Montague Miller & Co

Wow...cannot express how dissatisfied I was with Doug and Montague Miller. For a “property management” firm...they cause us so much more grief than I could have imagined. We had previously. It used a property management to rent and keep up with our house, but decided to go with one this past year to lessen the stress of us having to deal with little issues as we live out of state. Unfortunately...it was 10X more stressful. Doug was the cause of most of it. He routinely would not give us the rent on time (tenants would pay on the first of the month and he would not pass it along until the 20th of the month...well past when it was due to us). The tenants also had an emergency water leak where water was pouring through the ceiling and he was completely not responsive. Somehow the tenants got our contact info and reached out to us directly because they could not get ahold of Doug or anyone at Montague Miller So we had to deal with that on our own after hours and out of state. To his day...4-5 months later...he still never responded. I am literally not sure what we were paying him for... they were taking our money and making our lives MORE stressful. And we still had to essentially manage the property on our own! I would give zero stars if possible. When we would approach him with questions or concerns...we would hear nothing back. Whether it was via email, text, phone calls etc. I would highly NOT recommend Doug Burke and Montague Miller
