They seemed to do a very good job.   (Not being a plumber myself, I'll only really know a couple of years from now.) They were punctual, considerate, and seemed like a good bunch of guys.  Unless water starts coming out of my walls at some point, I'd hire them again.  (I don't anticipate any problems.)
It seemed a little pricy, but pretty much any good plumber probably is.

On time delivered service promptly.
Call them the previous night, they walked us thru shutting off water. And other procedures.
They arrived promptly, on the assigned time. Thy had all equipment required for the repair.

We have been using LACO for a few years after I first found them on Angie's List and we continue to be so pleased with their professionalism and overall performance. I consider them to be a trusted vendor, which is very important to me. Cost is another consideration but being able to trust our plumber is huge. All of the staff we've worked with have been great and I have no complaints.

They were very responsive and came out promptly. They did their work quickly and well, and came in slightly under their estimate. We are very happy with their work.

We have used Laco Plumbing in the past, they were recommended to us.  They have always been very responsive, honest and they do a good job.  I have no hesitation in recommending them!

Quoted a much lower price. Took a long time to get work completed, but did come on short notice when the water was leaking. Got us out of trouble but then did. To prioritize the completion of the job.

Extremely well. Many employees of Laco systematically located the faulty pipes by a process of elimination, then ran new piping around the leak to create a new path for the water. It was a difficult job and Laco did an excellent job. Very professional and given the scope of the job, reasonable.

Was advised that someone would be at the house between 10 AM and 1 PM on 4/14/14, or they would let me know if there was any delay. I called and left a message at 1:30 when nobody had showed up or called. Around 2:30, someone called to say that he was late because he was at someone else's house that had no water, and he had no cell service to be able to call. I understand that this sort of thing can happen with this type of business, because in many cases the technicians don't know what they'll run into until they actually get there. I also understand that there are many local areas that have no cell service.

When he did show up, he looked at the setup of the pressure tank and plumbing, and told the people at the house that he would work up an estimate and get in touch with me. It's been a week, and I haven't heard a thing. I'm willing to give the business a chance because of all the positive reviews on Angie's list, but at this point I'm not really sure if they actually want my business.

I'm hoping that they contact me to resolve this situation. I called and left a message again this morning, before typing this review. I will file another update if anything happens.

Update: Contractor installed new hot water heater, new pressure tank, new outside faucet, new bathroom faucet, and all new piping around pressure tank. Nice, clean work done on the installation of the new pressure tank and piping. There was a miscommunication on the contractor's end, where we were told that a larger pressure tank would be installed, but the actual replacement was the same size as what we originally had. New water heater did not work properly, but the contractor came back the next day to fix the problem. Still waiting on a shower head height extension pipe that the contractor says was ordered from Ferguson supply about 3 weeks ago, and should have been in long before now. Hopefully, that part will come in soon, and we will be able to call this job complete.

Their advice, friendliess, workmanship were top notch and the price was fair.

Tony was right on time this morning despite numerous emergency calls over the weekend. He said it would be at least an hour before we'd see the actual plumbers. 61 minutes later they arrived and quickly fixed the 2 problems others had tried to fix for years. They also gave us quick quotes to fix other more long-term problems. Bucky was great, and also provided us advice on how to get our Tahoe out of 4WD. Full service plumbers indeed!

Some time after Steven, the very competent plumber who came out, left, we discovered that a bolt that holds the toilet tank to the base was leaking. He returned soon after we notified Laco of this and fixed it. It wasn't clear whether the new leak had been caused by his working on the toilet previously or whether the bolt and sealing in this old toilet were already defective before he started work. In any case, Laco made no charge for fixing the leaking bolt, an act which will ensure our future business.

Whenever they have come, they have been prompt, professional and friendly. What impressed me most was that yesterday, when I called to say I had no water coming out of the hot water faucets in the master bathroom, they explained likely it was a frozen line and made recommendations on how to avoid a pipe rupture and leak. Everything is working now, and they didn't come over, but they were so helpful, that I wanted to write this review for them. I would even be happy to pay a consulting fee for what they did. Definitely will use them again.

Responded immediately to my call. We found out that we did not have hot water on Thursday morning and Tony made sure we did by Friday afternoon!

Service provider was thorough, thoughtful and did a great job. Work and parts are guaranteed for a year and is so reflected on the invoice left with me.

Plumber Stephen was very courteous and arrived shortly after the morning window given. Was very helpful in explaining the repairs and costs, and didn't do any unnecessary work. A couple of long-standing issues that I'm glad to have resolved. Would definitely recommend these guys, and will use them in the future for plumbing issues in Charlottesville.
