Rob, Scott and his team did an incredible job.  This was out first experience remodeling, and we had heard all the horror stories.  Not about them, but about remodeling in general.  We kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it never did.  The whole team was extremely professional, punctual, and went above and beyond the scope of the project to make sure we were happy.  Their level of perfectionism is what astounded my husband and I the most.  My husband is very handy, so he knows how things SHOULD be done.  He was extremely impressed about the fact that the quality of their work extends beyond what you can see from the outside.  They did not hesitate to rip out the work they had just done if it didn't look right, or if they didn't think it was done right.  But they kept on schedule anyway, mind you.  The designer, Kelly, was on the site several times a week at first.  We had spent months on the drawings, getting every detail just right.  However, once they started building based on her specs, we found that a few things didn't look or fit quite right.  She had them modify what they had already done (i.e. rip out a half wall they had just built...) without it resulting in a change order or extra cost for us.  That was pretty fabulous!
Overall, the project came in on time (8 weeks) and on budget, and it looks better than we could have dreamed.  We can tell they take a lot of pride in the work they do, and it shows.  Green Mountain will be our contractor for years to come, as we have many other areas of the house that need updating.  We have complete faith in them.  The only reason we didn't give them an A for price is that they are not the cheapest contractors in town.  But if you're willing to pay for quality and a job done right the first time, they are the team for you!
