Everyone was timely, they put my very nervous dog at ease. They obviously love and respect animals. I think the care is top notch and while I wish there were a senior discount, the prices are really so reasonable.

I have been incredibly impressed with the entire staff at Georgetown, and with Dr Handley.   The professionalism and how up to date and aware she and the staff are of all the treatments and how effective they are and how things will interact is amazing.   She has a great way with animals, professional but calming.  She also treats "pet parents" like adults, sizing up our abilities to deal with our babies problems, and respecting our abilities.   I found the prices very fair, much less expensive than the cat clinic I had been going to.   No extremely competent clinic is going to be cheap.   But, no doctor worth their salt is cheap either.   They do not push tests or unnecessary procedures that I have seen.

It was wonderful. We saw Dr. Mike. Everyone is very kind and caring with the dogs. I felt that I was getting excellent care and they are so professional. They are going to be my regular vet going forward.

Dr. Nancy Handley has cared for our dogs for almost 14 years.  During that period we have had dogs who were blind, deaf, scared, or highly allergic.  She has always been responsive to our concerns and worked with us to provide the best care for numerous ailments, including advising us when it was time to say good-bye.  When needed, she has referred us to specialists who also provided excellent care.

I really liked the vet and all the vet techs that we met. Everyone was very personable, took time to answer questions, and obviously cared about animals. Options were discussed with me in terms of different routes to address medical problems. It is a busy office and, as with most places, vet care is on the pricey side. I never felt slighted or like we had to wait too long to be taken back for our appointment, or to have an appointment scheduled... It can just be a bit busy when you check-in and checkout.

After an unfortunate experience at another vet's office, our dog became terrified of their office. We decided to switch to Georgetown, where several friends take their pets. I think we have probably seen every staff member at this point. Though our dog was scared at first, the consistently sweet and gentle staff at Georgetown brought him around. He seems to adore vet tech Amy and Dr. Feitz. The dog that used to cower under a bench in the exam room now stands at the door where the staff enters and is happy to see them.
I have been comforted by everyone's responsiveness when something has worried us and their calm demeanor when delivering news that might be a little scary to hear. They are so gentle with our dog, sitting on the floor with him for his exam (instead of making him stand on the exam table, which scares him) and gently examining him so that he's pretty relaxed.
We only have one other office to use as comparison when it comes to costs. Our old vet's office was very quick to medicate and sometimes quite pushy with vaccines. Georgetown has never pressured us to go beyond mandatory vaccines. The exams are a tad more expensive than at our last vet, but the costs of medications, heart worm preventative, and our monthly flea/tick treatments are a little less, so it all balances out. There have been a few times when Georgetown has saved us a visit (and therefore money) by reassuring us that something is okay over the phone or by squeezing us in for a quick, five minute visit to check on something that worried us. Our old vet would have had us come in for a full visit and charged us for that.
We are so glad to have moved to Georgetown!

The staff is an animal-loving people, very friendly and they love the pets. The environment is clean and friendly.

Dr. Handley is a wonderful vet.  She is with Georgetown Veterinary Hospital and the clinic on the whole is good.  She is a small animal vet.  Generally, her fee is $75 that includes a nail clipping but we got some medicines last time.  The dog is looked over very well and the price depends on the service that she does.  She is a wonderful person, very friendly, very professional, and very cheering.  She does have staff and they are good and responsive.  It is a hospital and has a veterinary environment.  I feel good about it and it is kept clean.  I feel good about bringing our dog to such a good clinic.

I used their serviced four times in 2012. I would hire them again.

They're perfect! They are reasonably priced. They are such good Vets and they provide good care. When we had to have our one dog put down, they cremated her for us. They are just great. We are very satisfed with them and wouldn't go anywhere else.

They are absolutely wonderful. I have nothing but good things to say about them! Nancy Handley and Popard are the Veterinarians who I usually see. However, everyone there is great! They are very loving and competent. They are fairly priced for their services.
