I had a super experience with Patrick and Nick concerning failure to heat my house. The inspection/diagnosis was very complete and the explanation was language I could understand. Even more important to me was the fact that Nick gave me choices to fix the problem.
When the furnace at the townhouse was not working, I didn't hesitate to call Comfort Source. Nick went to the house, troubleshooting the problems (bad fuse, bad wire, bad capacitor), fixed the problem.

Crew arrived early/on time - old equipment was removed and new American Standard units (heat pump and air handler) put in place in about 1 1/2 hours. The remaining work consisted of connecting major components and reconfiguring duct work in attic which, when completed took a total of about 8 hours. There was a glitch in the air handler not properly communicating with the heat pump (outside unit) causing a short cycling of the heat pump. The advanced complexity of the air handler necessitated a follow up visit the next day to resolve the issue. The technician involved was exceptional in his diagnosis and quick resolution of the short cycling. The co-owner ensured the problem was quickly remedied and the new HVAC has been working as designed and expected since then.
I will say that I'm glad I chose Comfort Source to replace my ailing HVAC as their professionalism and availability before and after the job has been very reassuring. David Brown was always available to answer a multitude of questions I had leading up to the installation of the new equipment which ensured I was getting the best system for my heating/cooling needs.

Once the decision was made, scheduling was a breeze. I let them know what days worked best for me and they accommodated me with no problems.
As for the installation, all the workers involved were outstanding examples of what a professional service technician should be. Not only did they do the work required for the job but they kept me informed of what they were doing and were willing to make small adjustments in their work flow to accommodate the needs of my family and pets. Even when I pestered them with questions, they took the time to answer my inquires without seeming to be put out by my interruptions.
Needless to say, ripping out a furnace from the basement and another from the attic and cutting in a new supply and returns was a messy job even with the steps they took to minimize the problem. At the end of the first day and when finished the second day they made sure everything was as clean or cleaner than when they started.
Additionally, when one of the workers saw signs of leakage from my roof he made sure to point it out to me and even went so far as to locate the entry point.
While there are several top notch HVAC companies to choose from around here, I am glad I went with Comfort Source and have no reservations recommending them.
To summarize, from start to finish working with Comfort Source was a pleasure and I look forward to continuing a relationship with them by bringing them back as needed for semi-annual maintenance.
