RAYMOND P.
Jan 2016
My wife could not get into her Yahoo account and need up using a bogus Yahoo Help site. Person asked permission to share her PC control and "discovered "many viruses. He offered to solve the problem for $200 . She realized it was a scam and hung up. When she tried to log on to the computer, she was locked out.
We were referred to Campus Computer Repair and were fortunate in getting this info. The owner, Sean, told us
there is a new kind of virus called ?ransom ware?. The hackers locks you out or encrypts all your files with a key only he has making access to your files impossible ... unless you pay him.
Sean fixed the problem in timely fashion and loaded some free antivirus and malware protection and charged us on $70. Knowing the big box store charges $200 to just look at your computer, we thought this was a very good price.
Sean has a nice way about him. He explained the problem and in non technical terms told us how he would solve it. He is very friendly, highly competent and caring. Even after he handed the computer back, he answered our questions on virus protection and security concerns for another fifteen minutes.
We will use him for any PC problem.
