"Fortunately, there are two sides to every story. The member purchased a builder grade combination vanity/sink base, engineered quartz countertop and hardware from our company. The homeowner’s budget dictated that she purchase an entry-level face frame cabinet with an opaque stain, a quality cabinet for the price point. After a 50% deposit was received, the cabinetry was order and received in 15 business days. The member was instructed prior to placing the order that the original plumbing would have to fit the new cabinetry, which included full depth drawers. Dimensions were provided. Approximately 3+ weeks later, the cabinetry was delivered and installation scheduled for the same day. Unfortunately, the plumbing was not correct and what should have been a 1-2 hour installation turned into a second day. Our installer shuffled his schedule to accommodate the plumbing problem. The member was not charged for the additional trip charge and the installation was completed. Upon completion of the cabinet installation, the countertop template was scheduled but the homeowner informed our company that she would be out of the country for 6 months. The countertop template and install had to be cancelled. Six months later…. the countertop template was scheduled at the earliest possible time and the standard fabrication timeframe was met. Cabinet Solutions was never informed that the countertop had any defects. I’m sure the homeowner, like everyone, would love to call on a Monday and have their custom countertop templated and installed the next, but that is unfortunately not reality. I apologize to the member that I did not give her the attention she thought she should have and hope that she can enjoy her lovely new bath."
