My wife called to have get a quote for a minor leak in our roof. We never ended up scheduling an appointment because we decided to go with another roofing company. A week ago we received an invoice in the mail telling us to pay $182 because a guy came over and apparently did the work without our consent or approval. He charged us that amount of money to reset a nail which wasn't even the cause of the leak. It turns out after having someone from another roofing company actually come inspect the attic that that we need to have a pipe boot replaced. I tried calling to ask about this but I keep getting told the guy I need to speak with isn't there. I wouldn't recommend this company they seem to do shady business.

I had problems with a leaking roof on a 19th century log cabin in Madison county.  Repeated attempts at spot repair failed and I finally had to bite the bullet and get the roof replaced.  A challenge in this rural area is finding reliable contractors who are willing to travel to get the work done, but Blue Ridge was responsive and submitted a competitive bid.  Metal roofing is never cheap, but they were very professional and worked with me to keep the costs reasonable while maintaining the historic character.  It took a while to schedule the job, as I recall, between competing work and rain, but they came when they said they would, and completed the job promptly and professionally.  I'd use them again for such a job, but the thing about metal roofs is, if done right, you don't need another one for 30 years!  In any case, a great job at a competitive price.

They came quickly and were knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. Definitely would use again. Big rain a few days later resulted in no leaks!

I got three estimates for the job. Blue Ridge Roofing was clearly the best. What made them stand out was their professional inspection, helpful ideas for energy efficiency, sensitivity to our needs, their commitment to starting and finishing on time, their warranties, skills and knowledge. Bruce Martin did the estimate and provided advice. He came by to check on the progress of the job and always was responsive and dependable. The crew was outstanding. They were very considerate, careful, informative and efficient. They came when they said they would and completed the job on time working daily with no interruptions from other jobs. They also did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. For knowledge, professionalism and reliability they are hard to beat. We are very satisfied with our beautiful energy efficient metal roof. And it all came with a workmanship warranty of 5 years and the 35-year paint warranty the Galvalume roof.

They were awesome. We actually got the service covered by insurance from some storms we had a year ago. They actually worked directly with the insurance lady. They completed a 2 story house in one day. It was incredible how fast they tore everything down and put it back up. They had a crew of 10 people and it was amazing to see them work.

They were very responsive when I called about my mother's roof leaking. My husband said it was probably the collars around the stink pipes. The repairman I talked to asked me how many and the color of the shingles. He showed up on time and did the work. He charged exactly what he quoted over the phone; a price I thought was very fair.

Very well. Communication was excellent. As it turned out, they were able to do the work a few weeks earlier than expected, due to another job postponement, and this worked out ideally for me. The team was friendly, professional, efficient. They kept me up to date on progress. One window was damaged in the process but Blue Ridge Roofing was quick to take responsibility for it and arrange for full repair. Thank you very much for a beautiful new roof and a great construction experience.

Thorough inspection and discussion during estimate phase and the crew that actually did the work were professional and efficient, completely cleaning up after the work. Communication with the office was not as satisfactory - no advance call about when the work was to be scheduled without a couple of phone calls. Overall, though, I'd use them again - great job.

I picked them randomly out of the Yellow Pages. Blue Ridge was the only company that was able to do the carpentry work along with the roofing. They were more of a full-service roofing company. They did a good job. It looks great and it is not leaking. They were prompt; they did not take too long. As with all roofers, they were dependent on weather.

I would rate them highly except for responsiveness. I would use them again in the future.

Blue Ridge was last here in December, and replace some sections of the roof. They did a wonderful job. We are pleased with the work they did, and would definitely use them again.

It was a big job, but the quality was excellent, everyone was very helpful and professional and responsive to any calls or emails. We went over a number of options for roof replacement, and they helped me choose one that was appropriate and cost effective.

During a 2 day-long torrential downpour with very high winds, there was leakage in the house on a Sunday, coming from the work area (the tarps on the roof couldn't stand up to the weather), I was able to get in touch with them, and 2 men showed up at my house and got up on the roof during that mess and took care of the problem. They were great about it.

We also had them replace gutters after we had some copper stolen, and the work was done extremely promptly and professionally.

The work was done quickly and with attention to detail. They even replaced a piece that was accidentally damaged during the process. The two men that were sent out to perform the work were nice and polite and worked very efficiently. The whole job took approximately 3 hours. At the end they cleaned up everything, taking special care to gather up any loose nails in the driveway.
