Belinda Rushing Belinda Rushing of Avenue Realty is just the best. Extremely smart (UVA grad) and sensitive (she read our housing preferences to a “T”), she’s also savvy (she led us to our new house even as it was under construction before it hit the market) and service-minded (she hung with us for ten days, through thick and thin, as our thoughts evolved). But beyond that, with her sparkling, cheerful demeanor, she was just a total pleasure to deal with. Briefly, our story: We got off the plane from Denver, and straightaway Belinda led us to the house we now own. No, we said, we want a different location, closer to Staunton. So, we circled around Staunton houses for ten days, Belinda at our side, considering and rejecting various houses. In the end, virtually headed back to Colorado, we returned to our house one more time, then realized that it was right for us after all. And now, having just moved into our delightful new home, we know: Belinda Rushing got it right the first time. In our minds, Belinda is without question a Staunton-region Superstar. For us, she knocked the cover off the ball. I am a retired corporation lawyer, professor and novelist. My wife is a retired professional economist, financial analyst and CPA. We now live in Fishersville.
