Albemarle Siding & Windows LLC

In the summer of 2019 I hired Albemarle Siding & Windows to replace all the siding on my home and all the windows. They nicely arranged for new gutters as well. They did a prompt, professional, and very fine job. The gutters were installed by another party and he did an excellent job. However, when I asked them to come back and install shutters and fix a hole in the siding that my lawn care contractor had made, they abandoned me. I sent e-mail to tell them I wanted the shutters, and Mr. Orrock wrote back and quoted a price. I then approved and asked them to come and do it. While I was waiting on that, the lawn guy put a hole in the siding. I wrote to Mr. Orrock again and asked him to repair it. A month or two went by without a word, so I called and was promised a call back, but it never came. The e-mail approving the shutters is dated 11 September and the one asking for the repair is dated 9 October. I placed a phone call after that, but the only response has been silence. Evidently they handle the big items well but not the little ones, and they've turned their back to me.

Great. The windows and door are slightly lower quality than more expensive brands but well worth the cost savings. Accurate estimate, timely and professional installation. We're very happy.

Fantastic crew and service. Extremely professional, lightning fast, every detail is perfect. For the first time since we've owned our home we can open the windows -- what a delight to hear the whippoorwill at night, the songbirds in the day. 
I heard about Bryant and crew from another satisfied customer. After listening to his experience and reading reviews on several companies in the area we had no doubts that Albemarle Windows was our team. After meeting Bryant I didn't even call anyone else. The guys were here on schedule, did the work in less than a day, and cleaned up beautifully. I was really impressed at the longevity and loyalty of the guys -- one around 20 years, one more than 10 years with the company. That says a lot to me about the quality of the company. It also means they really, really know what they're doing.

Wow, really deserves an A+. We checked prices and ideas for installation as our house is cedar clapboard sided. We met with Bryant from Albemarle Siding & Windows and we were convinced that their windows and plan for installing them was the best. The last question was of course the price ! Bryant asked us what we wanted and what they offered . We were amazed at the price and asked when the work could be done and how long the custom size windows would take to make. We agreed to the price and the windows were in when they said and their "excellent" crew showed up on time worked like a well oiled machine in 95 degree heat and high humidity. The crew,(Wes,Richie,Alberto and Willie) were very considerate and kept extremely clean as they worked. They had all the work done in two days. They have worked together for years and it REALLY SHOWS !! When we change to vinyl siding in the future we will be calling on them again !!!! PS. THIS IS OUR FIRST EVER ANGIES LIST COMMENT.

Showed up on time,  worked almost non stop for 4 days (they did my windows too).  Workers were clean, hardworking and responsive.  If I had a concern, they addressed it immediately and politely.  Bryant came around and checked on job several times.   Couldn't have been better!!  Followup was great!!   Would use again in a heartbeat!

Bryant (owner and price estimator) is a very friendly, talkative guy and gave us the best deal of the companies we talked with. The crew came out a couple weeks later and framed out our windows (brick house) and installed the new door and window. They were friendly and efficient. Our only complaint is that the top window pane on most of the windows seems to slide down often when we close the bottom pane. I'm not sure if this is common with windows that have two removable sections, but overall, this would not prevent me from hiring them again.

Everything went great!  This company is one of the first that I've dealt with that shows up when they say they will, cleans up after themselves, and then follows up with customer service.  The work crew was friendly and patiently answered any questions that I had. The work was done almost 7 years ago.  In that time, we had 1 window mysteriously crack, and one window lost the seals on the panes.  Both times, Bryant Orrock came to the house in a timely manner to check out the problem, and then ordered replacement panes - free of charge.

 We are extremely satisfied.
4/10/14 - we are now in the process of final contract work with Albemarle Window and Siding to repair/wrap our fascia, soffits, rakes, and porch roof as well as install brand new gutters and downspouts.  Out of three quotes - theirs was the best, plus Bryant answered all of my follow up questions by email very quickly.  We'll post a separate review for this job.

It went very well.  Craftsmanship is excellent.  We are very satisfied with the final results.  The installers picked up and left the place very clean with no dust.  Craftsmen were polite and helpful.  Everything looks wonderful.  The windows we selected were a little more expensive than originally planned, but we got an excellent product.

Bryant was very professional, seemed honest, demonstrated a good product, gave a good price, gave a good time frame for completion and adhered to it.  The experience could not have been better.  I would recommend him to anyone and will use him again in the future.

They installed five windows in our basement.   We found no glass or debris in our yard after the work was done.  We have an older house with lead paint so dealing with that was part of the procedure and thus the price was a little higher.  We're very pleased with the product so far.  

Bryant replaced all our siding and windows.  His presentation was professional, and thorough.  His followup was always prompt. His employees worked diligently and did an excellent professional job.  They always answered any of my questions and if I had a concern, addressed it right away.  House looks terrific and I have gotten a lot of compliments.   One of the windows had a flaw and was replaced right away with no problems.

My 1940's era house in the Fry's Spring neighborhood still had original windows that were drafty and difficult to operate. We'd been meaning to replace them for a few years, but we finally pulled the trigger this summer to get nice breezes in the fall and get the better insulation in winter. We shopped around a little but ultimately went with Albemarle Siding & Windows based on their reputation.

Began on time daily, cleaned up as they went, took down and rehung drapes. Did excellent work, Mr. Coffey & his sons, were the work crew and were great.

Their service was great.  They were very clean and prompt.  I would definitely recommend them.  They provided the form to get the rebate on the energy efficient windows. They had good customer service.

I had three companies give me estimates on replacement windows.  One was a small local company that I expected to bid pretty high and they did.  The second was a national chain that I expected to have the lowest price, which they did, however, Window Depot's estimate was just above them and, factoring in a rebate, which neither of the other two sales people mentioned (did they not know about the rebate or did their windows not qualify?) Window Depot had the lowest price.  Window Depot is a franchise sort of deal and I can't speak for them nationally, but the owner in the C'ville area is a contractor with many years' experience and this came through as he was discussing technical details of the installation process.  The job was completed quickly and professionally.  His crew was very good, efficient and easy to work with.  Everything was perfectly clean.  Communication via phone and email all answered promptly.  Great experience overall.  I'm very happy with the windows and the service/installation.

The job went well. They could have cleaned up better outside the house, such as nails and debris. That needs to not happen and contractors should not throw things down on the ground. They explained things well and did a good job. Other than the clean up, I was pleased.
