Left them a message, call returned pretty quickly, set an appointment for the next day. The icky, gross mess was gone along with the oder like magic. Told us if any spot or smell returned to call them and they'd come back-- Absolutely recommend them.

They were very good. They were nice and clean. The price was right.

I contacted Albemarle Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners on Friday and they were able to come out to my house on Monday.  They showed up on time (actually a few minutes early but waited for me to show up).  They introduced themselves, took a quick tour of the house to see what needed to be done and then started the job. 

Took them about 60-75 minutes to finish up. 

Honestly answered some of the questions I put to them (like how was the condition of the carpets, how long it would take to dry etc).  At the end, asked me if I had any other questions and then handed me the invoice and off they went.  They even left me a couple of pairs of "booties" in case I need to walk around on the carpets before they had completely dried off.

All in all, I am very satisfied and would use them again in the future.

They took care to raise wooden furniture on foam pads or plastic when possible.
Did an excellent job of cleaning, especially a few stain spots. The carpet was not over soaked, nor did it have a heavy "deodorizer" smell. We had a challenge where a fish tank had leaked and they did an excellent job of cleaning the carpet in that area.
Carpets dried in the time they said they would and do have have a residue like some leave.
The gentlemen were very polite, nice, well informed.
They worked quickly and efficiently.
Overall above expectations. Will absolutely use again.

I like that they do the job and they do not charge astronomical. Their service is good and their prices are reasonable. Their servicemen are very respectful of you and your property. The last time I recommended them was last year. The people, I recommended them to, were very pleased with them. They really are the best around. Another thing good thing is that they come when they say they are going to be there and if they do not, they call you and let you know.

It was easy to schedule the appointment.  An estimate of the cost was given over the phone. 
Harold, the man sent to do the job showed up on time as scheduled.  He was very polite and considerate.  He was clean and well dressed for the job and was very professional.
The carpet in one of the rooms, the master bedroom, was very dirty.  My wife was bedfast with an illness for four years in that room.  There was heavy foot traffic every day, equipment  such as hoyer lifts, gerry chairs, tray tables were constantly wheeled in and out of the room and occasionally water (for bathing) meds, etc. would get spilled on the rug.  In short their was a lot of rubbed in dirt on the carpet.  I had another company try to clean the carpet a year or two before and though improved it was not the best job.  I asked Harold to do the best he could knowing full well the answer would be to buy new carpet.  
Surprisingly, Harold did an amazing job!  The carpets are now spotless and certainly do not need to  be replaced.  And I was not charged extra money for the extra effort he must have put in to the job.
I absolutely recommend Albemarle Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners if you want a great job at a good price.

They were able to get in unassisted, clean the carpets (even inside the
closets), they deodorized the entire area including an area that had a
pet stain.  They did an excellent job and I've given their name to the
landlords of the property should they ever need to use a carpet cleaner.
They left the invoice on the counter so I was able to retrieve it later.  I'd
definitely recommend them to anyone who needs carpets cleaned.

They showed up on time, did all the work quickly and professionally, and the furniture and rug were left looking like new!

Greg arrived and worked for at least a half hour using a series of cleaners and hot water vacuuming. He was successful in pulling lots of dirt out of the stain but because it was an old and set stain it did not all come out. Despite my insistence to cover his time, labor, and materials he refused to take any payment for the job because all the stain didn't come out. In other words, he a very high standard of performance, as well as plenty of expertise. I would call these guys again for any carpet cleaning related tasks.

The representatives of the Firm showed up promptly, and performed their services expeditiously and professionally. I would wholeheartedly recommend Albemarle Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning for anyone who needs services of this nature.

After contacting the service provider, the response was very professional.  I received a great price quote.  On the day of service, the servicemen were very punctual and friendly.  Before they started, we did a walk through of my home. They started to work immediately afterwards.  They did a wonderful job of cleaning the bedroom carpets.  There were portions of the carpets that were heavily stained, but they were able to get them cleaned.  I was impressed!  The final area was the downstairs carpet.  Due to years of stains (and of course wear and tear), I really didn't think many of the stains would come up.  But they were able to get most of the hardest stains cleaned (which was impressive to me).  Overall, I was very satisfied with the results, and I would recommend them again.

Uneventful.  He came on time; diagnosed it; working enough to use temporarily; returned a few days later when he had the needed part and replaced it in about 5 minutes!

We had recently moved and we wanted to both clean it and get out the 'moving' smell. The rugs had already been in the house and were worn looking. Albemarle did a great job, with a good price and exactly the time they set. We were very pleased that the furniture then looked and smelled new after the cleaning. We also had two other couches that hadn't fared as well in the move.
