I have gone to them for about 20 years and they are excellent. They are professional and I have never had any problems with their work. They provide a shuttle service and are just great to work with. Their workmanship is top notch and I would recommend them as well.

I bought a set of continental DWS tires from them a couple of years ago for my Ford Flex. The tires are warranted to 50000 miles and all rotation were performed with them. This last service (30000 miles) they found that all 4 tires were defective due to belt separation. If only one was bad, maybe it could be my fault (hitting something), but not all 4. I even called continental and all indications are for a factory defect. These are super $$$ tires ($220 per tire) and after much debate, the "best" they can do is replace all my tires at MY cost and also charge me for all the labor again. Then, if and when they get a rebate from continental, I may get some back. Sorry, I do not find this proposal acceptable. As the dealer that sold, installed and maintained my tires I expect them to stand behind the product and the service without dropping this on the customer. They were very quick to tell me that they are a certified dealer for continental, but apparently not so keen on taking care of their customers when the rubber hits the road

They take appointments, even for oil changes (You can also just drop your car off). They have a shuttle service, and will even come pick up your car if need be. I have been going here for about 10 years now, and would highly recommend. They have coupons on their website, and will sometimes send them in the mail as well.

I needed new tires and was looking for a good and honest tire shop. They price matched the tires to the lowest bid I could find, delivered them on time and aligned the vehicle. Prices are a bit higher, but still ok. I like that I can drop in every NOVA location and get a nitro top off. Car drives well, no issues so far. Good job!

After I got my car back I noticed a braking noise on the rear passenger tire that was not present before. I took it back the next day and the mechanic said the brake drum was warped....and said it had nothing to do with changing tires..my next oil change I went to a different place and they informed me that at the last oil change (which was at Va. tire) the oil filter was not screwed on tight and there was oil all over the inside of the engine. The new place also recommended that the pull the rear breaks and clean and adjust them as the drums can get out of adjustment and dirt get in when a new tire is installed.. Tday I left the new place with no noise in the rear....I will never return to Chantilly Va tire....

I take my cars to Virginia Tire and Auto for oil changes and inspections because it is a very convenient location. The last several times I waited about an hour (even though my cars were immediately driven into the bay). For inspections I can count on failing the inspection because of the tires and having them recommend their tires. One time I failed (legitimate). Their estimate to fix was over $800. My mechanic fixed it for under $300. I will be looking for a new location for oil changes and inspections.

Fantsatic. From the first contact I knew I was going to be well taken care of. Very professional and friendly. I was initially told the wait would be about 1 -2 hours, but when I showed up they told me it would be about an hour from start to finish and they beat even that time. I was very happy with the experience and would definitely return for other servicing.

Noticed my car leaking some fluid, so called to Chantilly Virginia Tire and Auto to see if I could drive it right up and have them locate the problem. I got to the shop and they got my car right in. Within the hour, they had identified the problem, leaking water pump. They asked to keep the car overnight, and fix it the next day. The next afternoon, I got a call that the repair was done and went and picked up the car.

We use Virginia Tire and Auto for all of our automobile services. We've found them to be prompt, generally courteous, and (as far as I can tell) honest. In fact, we recently took a car in for them to investigate the cause of a knocking sound. They found the cause quickly, made a minor adjustment, and charged us nothing for their trouble. It certainly wasn't an extensive job that would have warranted a big bill, but they could have legitimately charged me something. It's also not unusual for one of the mechanics to note the need for certain maintenance in the future, but rarely do they say anything needs attention immediately. That has not been my experience at certain other places, and I take it as a sign that these guys can be trusted. Frankly, I can't speak to their relative price, since I don't shop around for my mechanics.

My 2007 Subaru Outback have been
maintained in Virginia Tireand Auto at Gainesville for over 5 years. Before
summer of 2013, we moved to Chantilly, VA from Gainesville VA. And due to good
reputation of Virgina Tireand Auto, I kept bringing back my Subaru back
to the new location in Chantilly. Here were some new experience I got from
this Chantilly location:
On 7/21/13, I sent the Subaru
Outback to the shop for front axle replacement because Jiffy Lube technician
told me that front axle was leaking oil a few days ago. The cost was ~$520
parts and labor, then they told me that tire need replacement, but the
brakes were fine.
On 8/31 Saturday afternoon, Isent my 2007 Subaru outback to the workshop for installing new tires and
performing safety inspection. The front Rep told me I had to leave the car
there until tomorrow due to the amount of work. I left the car there
overnight.
Next morning on 9/1 Sunday, another Rep called me that Tire installed and
aligned. but the rear brakes and reverse lights failed safety inspection. I
questioned that the breaks were fine a month ago from the report you gave to
me, and I have not driven over 500 miles in last month. But they said the pads
in rear brakes were too thin. I agreed to fix both for $350. Two hours later, I
got another call from shop, and told me that the reverse lights were still
broken after new bulbs installed. They would charge ~$100 for diagnosing.
I started feeling suspicious about the inspector. I told them I would fix the
light myself, let the car fail inspection.
I went to Shop, check the bulbs
on both reverse lights. they installed a set of new ones but not matching to OEM
on the manual. I asked them to put back the original bulbs. Both lights were
still off. I paid the cost $1050 (tires+alignment+rear breaks+safety
inspection) and drove Subaru back home with a failed safety sticker. They kept reminding me that I had to get the lights fixed in two weeks.
Once I got home, I check all the
fuses for reverse light, they were fine. Then I check the voltage at the light receptacles
were zero volts. Then I started tracing the wires from the light receptacles.
Finally, at the joint of the hatch back, there was a rubber tube where a bundle
of wire going through ( for brake light, turning lights, rear window heating
wire etc). In the middle of the bundle, there was the reverse light wire
broken, straight/clear broken, no wear and tear sign at all. To me it was very
unlikely that the broken wire was from open/close the hatch, or
got pinched. One month ago on 7/21/13, I took the car to Jiffy lube for
oil change, the technician only told me that the rear license plate light were
out, none of the reverse lights had issue. After I solved the reverse
light issue, I suspected that the inspector in workshop had taken the safety
inspection to an extreme.
On next day, I got a survey from Virginia
Tireand Auto in Chantilly. I wrote the same paragraphs above, and they never
got published. Here are the links for
their own survey.

Auto Service
This is an update to my original review of this company. The warranty service was completed in a timely manner with no surcharges, and the part appears to be working fine. The manager of the store has called and written letters apologizing for the frustrating service I received originally. He was professional and appeared to be concerned about providing good customer service. He also said I had been misinformed, and that I actually did receive a new part rather than a rebuilt part in this instance. I appreciate the company's responsiveness to my concerns.
Response from Virginia Tire & Auto of Chantilly
