The Finish Depot

It was a terrible experience.  Green Kitchens refinished my cabinets in January.  After I filed a dispute with Angie's List, they came back in February to touch up the areas where they had not finished and repair cabinets that had already started peeling (no primer had been used).  I spent the next four months cleaning overspray from thier paint.  Other cabinets started chipping (also due to no primer).  I asked them to honor thier contracte and come back (contract said that they would come back in six months to do repairs and touch-up).  I was told that they had already come back.  This company does not either ensure that thier work is done properly nor honor thier contract.

Except Laminate Counter tops edge was not even line. I was very not happy with that. They willingly to take them out and refund the money. (the price was awesome but did not accept for REDO) I had to search, search, search for other contractor to even their price. Unfortunately  Most Contractor give me an estimate little more money than them. 
I think Green Kitchen people work with Cabinet is very excellence. But Counter Tops need to train who work with. 
Also, I had hard time to communicate with Melody via text. It took me to wait for her to reply within one week or few days. Even in email. 

The work they did is magnificent.  The cabinets look great!  They were on time and did the work very well.  The job was scheduled for 3 days, but they worked about 11 hours, finishing after 9 at night, on the second day.  I am very pleased with the work!    The only difficulty is that English is not their first language, so sometimes I was not sure how well we were communicating.  I also found that after the initial emails and consultation, it was very hard to get a response to either emails or phone calls.  I also wish there had been a little more design consultation.  Melody provides the translation for her father, but neither were offering suggestions or ideas.  It would have been better, and perhaps they would have had a bigger job, if they had someone to actually offer a design consultation.  If you know what you want, they are a great company!  Again, the finished job is beautiful and they delivered what they said they would deliver.

It went good. The person who came out was very nice and I don’t usually find anyone like him.

This is a family owned business that take pride in their workmanship.  I did a lot of research into refinishing/painting kitchen cabinets and looked extensively for a company that could do the job.  The company is about 75 miles from my home but I drove to their showroom to review their work.  I was delighted to see different styles and colors of cabinets.  I had 30 dark oak cabinet doors and 16 drawer fronts and wanted to go lighter.  Because my cabinets were in good shape, I thought I could save money by having them painted/glazed as opposed to buying new cabinets or having them refaced.  The process was simple - I sent them a picture of my current cabinets and got an estimate from them in 2 days.  After going to the showroom and picking out the French white/mocha glazing, I signed a contract with work to be completed in a month.  They came to my home and picked up the door and drawer fronts on June 25 and completed the job on July 9.  Because of the distance, they worked 10+ hours to finish the job in one day.  It looks AMAZING!  I started out with an estimate of 6500 for refinishing.  After adding custom features including trim, molding, corbels, hidden hinges, and hardware my total price came to roughly $9,000.  What a transformation!  Thanks so much to Melody and her dad for helping me design such a beautiful kitchen and for saving me thousands of dollars.  ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER!   

I liked the fact that they did quality work, and they had good suggestions about what to do to make things look better. They were very clean and cooperative.

I went online and searched for cabinet refinishing companies.  Picasso Cabinet offered an estimate from photos; so I sent photos of the kitchen and the work I wanted done.  They responded right away with an estimate of $3500.  I came to their showroom, picked out a cabinet door style, discussed crown moulding, door closures, finishes, the new cabinet over the refrigerator, and signed a contract.  The next  week they came to my apartment and removed the doors and made measurements.  In a few days I received an e-mail that they recommended new doors, not refinishing, due the poor condition of the doors.  The cost would be $1800.  I agreed and came to their showroom and signed another contract.  They ordered the doors and it was about a month until the doors were ready.  (During this time there was a major power outage in the area that lasted two weeks.)   They spent about 3 days working in the kitchen refinishing the cabinets to match the doors,,installing the new cabinet over the refrigerator, and adding crown moulding.
I have the highest regard for this company.  The owners and staff are lovely people.  The craftmanship is of the highest quality.  And their prices can't be beat.  Mr. Park was quick to make suggestions to improve the product.  If more money was involved, it was always reasonable.  And often I was not charged for labor.  They take justifiable pride in their work.  And I would recommend this company to anyone for high quality cabinet work.
