I've had them much longer than I have had Angie's List. They come every month. I pay it yearly and it is about $400 a year. I have recommended them to others. They come back out if you have any problems. If they come out and you have weeds again then you can call them any time and they will come out. Sometimes I see the workers and sometimes I don't. If I am not home when they do it they just leave a little sign, but they are respectful when I am here.
Everything went great. Technician was on time and very professional. I have a new construction house with some sodded areas and some seeded. My technician, Jaime, used different products for each area to facilitate germination of seeded area and prevent crabgrass in sodded area. Jaime used a very efficient gas powered spreader that I had never seen other service providers use.
I'm finishing my first year w/ Spring Green now. This company is actually a little less expensive than most I've worked with and offered fewer visits to my house throughout the season as a result. I have extensive planting on my property so this was an initial concern for me. Oh well, I was told I could back out of my contract if dissatisfied so might as well give them a try.
I am very pleased! My yard looks better then it has in a few years now. They call the day before they treat so I can look around my yard for concerns I might have (all companies agree to do this but few ever do). Also, although they came less frequently, for the VERY FIRST TIME since living here, I wasn't overrun w/ fungus, aphids, scale, etc?. It appeared that their treatments actually were effective :-)
This company has a small company feel and I really like that. They're very polite and return calls in a timely manner. Yes, I'll be renewing my contract with SPRING GREEN this next year!!!
