"[Member Name Removed], Thank you for the kind words. I really enjoyed working with you and your husband for this project and am looking forward to the next ones. Ryan"
"Dear Mr. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for the review regarding your recent shower project. Given your and your wife's comments at the end of the project, I was anticipating a more positive review. With that said, I take all feedback seriously in-order to shape and grow my company. Could you please explain the reasoning behind your comments and what I could have done to provide you with a better experience? Thank you, Ryan"
Prior to Ryan's visit, one of the contractors examined the stain on the ceiling because of a one time water leak from bath tub and quoted a higher amount and talked about a bigger project than fixing it right. Ryan examined and fixed the issue right away and gave a reasonable quote for the stain removal/dry wall patch needed to fix it. The ceiling stain removal is yet to be done, but the actual source of the issue was identified soon.
The ceiling fan had an incorrect tie rod and the correct set was suggested and fixed within couple of hours. The quality of service is great and I would highly recommend Ryan's services to friends and neighbors.
Ryan responded to my initial call promptly back in November, shortly after we noticed that our master shower was leaking into the room beneath it. He diagnosed the problem and recommended different ways we can handle it. A few days later he sent an estimate to me for demolishing the shower and installing a new shower, labor and materials included except the tiles which we would provide (he recommended a reputable company we ultimately purchased the tiles from and he subsequently picked the tiles up for us when the job was ready to commence). As the holidays were nearing we decided to hold off on gutting and replacing the master shower and opted to not use it until we were ready to do the work, thus, preventing further leaks in that meantime as well. We obtained two other estimates initially as well and Ryan was both the most reasonable and presented in a polite, helpful, non-pressured way which we appreciated. We contacted Ryan a few months ago to let him know we were finally ready and that we had chosen him. Ryan then visited our home again to do a walk through and discuss the job once more. We then took some time in choosing the tiles, Ryan picked up the tiles, and began work on time. He is very professional, works efficiently, explains everything that he is doing, and is extremely respectful of your home at all times as well. He is thorough in his preparation with respect to covering the floors fully, and his clean up effort at the conclusion of the job was the best I'd seen (and we've had a TON of work done at our home, mostly out of necessity), which included a full sweep and swiffering of our hardwood floors in places he had barely trafficked through. Ryan was also extremely helpful to us concerning an unrelated matter - our wet basement. Given all of the rain the past few weeks, including drainage issues and water getting into our basement, Ryan offered tips to us as to how to prevent the rain from getting in, i.e., if he knew more rain was on the way he'd text or call me to offer additional tips out of genuine concern for our basement. He also freely helped me pull up our carpet, remove the padding underneath, and help me to dry the basement floor as quickly as possible, which I am very grateful for.
Ryan did a great job form start to finish, takes great pride in his work, works diligently, is very professional, and really cares about his customers. I wholeheartedly recommend Ryan to anyone in need of a handyman for just about anything in fact. If it's not something he deals with directly he can most likely direct you to someone who does do that type of work.
I painted all the moulding before installation and then painted over the caulk when the job was completed.
This is the second time I have used him and he does a good job. Communicates well which is important to me.
