R.L. Cudd & Associates

I got in contact with R.L. Cudd through the home warranty company (so I don't know how he charges; I only paid a deductible.) The appointment was made quickly and he showed up exactly when he said he would. He identified and repaired the problem, then kindly checked the other bathtub in the house, repairing that one too when it was found that it had the same problem. Not only did he go above and beyond by checking the second tub, he explained what he was doing at the time as well. I always appreciate being educated on matters pertaining to my home. By the way, he also took a brief look at the water heater, which had a known gas leak, and took data on the valve to be replaced, but as he wasn't assigned the case, he didn't order the part.
When dealing with the water heater situation through the warranty co., I requested R.L. Cudd personally this time, because by now I trusted him. Sure enough, he called back promptly and made the appointment for that very afternoon, since he had been to the warehouse and found the right valve when he first heard from the warranty company! I appreciated his proactive attitude; he couldn't have repaired the water heater so quickly if he hadn't looked at it beforehand. We had our hot water back much sooner than I thought we would! I will definitely request R.L. Cudd for plumbing issues next time.

They are very professional and very good at what they do.

We had to call them back for a leak after they "repaired" the leak (luckily before the wall was repaired). The main problems we had were more to do with the sub RL Cudd hired to fix the walls after they repaired the pluming. They were not professional, did not get back to us in a timely manner and did poor workmanship. I called them back a few times to have them come back to fix their work, they said they would be out "on Sunday", but never showed up. I left messages, but no response. I gave up and did some caulking and fix-up work myself.
Unfortunately the I do not have a company name for the sub, so I cannot rate them directly. Again, most of the issues have to do with the sub and not RL Cudd directly, although they did suggest them as a good company.

We have a home warranty. When we noticed water dripping from the ceiling we called the warranty claims department and filed a claim. They referred us to RL Cudd. After I called RL Cudd, he came out within 30 minutes and repaired the leak.
