Lewis Aquatech

Lewis Aquatech is amazing. We put an indoor pool in our home and we are so glad that we chose them to do it!! Joe Gwiz was attentive to all of our questions, and even took us to see a residential indoor pool that they had built for another customer. It was so nice to see, in person, something similar to what we were looking to build. It gave us confidence that they were the company for the job. The process was easy, and Joe really walked us through all of our selections. He got samples of everything so it was easy to commit! The construction of the pool was also easy. They worked around our construction with no issues, and were generally a joy to work with! Even the service people have been great! We couldn't be happier! The company really built a top notch pool for us that we enjoy all the time!

Every year, Lewis Aquatech takes care of our pool needs.  From opening and closing, to updates and repairs.  They are always prompt, reasonable cost, and professional.  We have been using them since 2010 and are very pleased and would highly recommend them.

Agree with both of the other reviews.  They built our pool and spa in
2006 and had to redo quite a bit of work.  They were were very late. on
schedule. The design, we have now discovered, was defective as we do not
have adequate water movement which causes stagnant water to sit in
about a fourth of our pool.  We have had them maintain our pool but the
service has been terrible.  We ended up with a large mosquito larvae
problem.  Their service techs have overfilled, underfilled and forgotten
to add chemicals. I can't recommend them for anything.  Plus they are
expensive.

We chose Lewis Aquatech partly because of the 5 star reviews so we felt compelled to write a review. Our project consisted of pool, waterfall, outdoor kitchen, patio and covered area with fireplace. The project began Oct 09'. Extremely poor project management resulted in construction issues that had to be torn out and rebuilt, failed inspections, and major delays. In June 10' we hired a separate company to complete the project. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Glenwood,MD

I welcome any of you to come see my pool before deciding to use Lewis Aquatech.

We love them, and two of their workmen in particular that my husband specifically asks for whenever they come out. They are wonderful people who do their job well. The labor is much lesser than what I have seen at other places. Every time we call them, they?ve come right out, within a reasonable amount of time. The person who is one of their chief maintenance people is just super. They are reliable and very honest. Several times, when we thought that there was something major wrong, they?ve come out and said that it was a simple problem, where someone else would have said that we needed to replace something. They do the work in good timing.

The finished product is really nice. But working with them was a major headache. Their customer service is terrible. They made appointments they couldn't keep and they show up without warning. Some things never got done correctly. When they hire new people they wouldn't supervise their subcontractors. I had to explain the same thing several times before they would really understand. It took a lot longer than expected.

Late and unresponsive in almost everything they did. From the appointment for the estimate to the actual work, this company never made it to my house when they told me they would be there. I'm not just talking hours late, but days. The tech didn't show for the initial estimate and after calling him, he claimed he "thought it was set for the next day." After signing a contract and setting the work schedule for Monday a few weeks later, they ended up not showing at all. Nor did they have the courtesy to call and inform me they wouldn't be coming. They promised me they'd be there the next day - they didn't show nor call. I called them again. On Wednesday the pool cleaners arrived, but not the tech to repair the coping and replace the cover. Long story short, they didn't show until Thursday and they demanded I pay them first before fixing the coping. At that point I fired them. Ended up paying $500 for a sub-par pool opening.

The appointment time period was between 8-10AM. At about 9AM the install crew arrived. They politely introduced themselves and I showed them the worksite. They promptly started work. They cut out the broken pump and started working on the install of the new pump. I asked about how long the install would be and they informed me about 45 minutes. Around 9:40AM they informed me that the work was complete. I went to the pool to inspect the work and the pump was working and the pool cleaner was doing its job. From a laymans perspective, the work looked thorough and complete. The job site had been cleaned and everything appeared to be in order. I ran the pump continuously for 2 days without issue. My pool is very clean and in general I am satisfied.

WE HAVE USED LEWIS AQUATECH FOR ALL OUR POOL SERVICE AND REPAIR NEEDS FOR 3 YEARS. THEY HAVE ALWAYS ARRIVED WHEN SCHEDULED, THE BILL MATCHES THE ESTIMATE AND THE WORK IS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
