Mike and his team were professional, punctual, and responsive when it came to replacing our home water heater and HVAC unit. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. Their team explains in detail what needs to be done and never takes shortcuts. They are very trustworthy and I highly recommend them.

L&B Universal installed a new HVAC system at my home (Dec 2022) and a new water heater (Jan 2023). Mike and the staff at L&B were very helpful/courteous and followed up right away on scheduling all of the planned work. My technicians Johnnie and Sam did an outstanding job on the installation of all of the new equipment. They arrived on time for our appointments and they were very strategic, organized and worked diligently in completing the work. Johnnie and Sam answered any questions that we had and were very professional and polite to work with and explained both projects along the way. They also provided instructions and information about the new equipment after the installation was complete. Great care was taken and the work areas were left absolutely spotless. Outstanding! My AC went out on a hot August day. Michael K. provided a same day quote $4000 less than competitors. He advised me that it could be 1-2 weeks before they could get the HVAC system due to COVID supply chain limitations. Within days they located a unit and drove 2+ hours round trip to pick it up. Young, Johnnie, and Choi arrived on time, wearing masks, and did a fantastic job installing the HVAC system and a hot water heater. All around, a great experience -- my choice of Lennox or Carrier system, no up-selling, under-promised and over-delivered on schedule, and professional install all at price that couldn't be beat. Highly recommend!

Total painless experience. L&B was very responsive to my needs. Replacement of my old unit was immediately scheduled. The crew showed up at the scheduled time. Installation was completed in a day. I needed to install 2 A/C systems and a water heater tank. Jake, Lily, Sandy and the technicians were great! Technicians are very experienced. Price was much affordable than Sears, Homedepot, CroppMetcalfe, etc. I really recommend this company. I'm very happy with my purchase.

We have been using L&B Universal for our HVAC-related services for almost 10 years now. They did not install the original equipment (attic and basement), but they have both fixed several problems that we've had with our original equipment, and by now, have replaced both our furnace + AC and most recently our attic heatpump. They also replaced our water heater. They have always arrived at the day/time that we agreed to, and they are pretty responsive, especially when we have cooling problem during summer and heating problem during winter. The basement installation was in the middle of winter, and I remember watching their workers suffer bringing the equipment to the basement in the middle of a snow storm, and, they even found that the first unit was bad, and then immediately brought a new unit to replace it (again, in the middle of a snow storm). We have also been using them to provide preventive maintenance service, and they are good, because they don't always try to sell us something. So overall, good company to work with and we keep using them :)!!

We received quotes for replacement of AC and furnace units from L&B Universal and one other. Jake was very courteous and accomodating with a detailed cost proposal. His installation colleagues arrived on time at 7:30AM and were at our residence until 3PM. Great professional work through and through.

Jake came out the same day and provided a great estimate. Beat our previous quote by almost 1K and with a better quality product. Install was scheduled within a few days and install, which was suppose to take 6-8 hours only took 4 hours. A+ experience!

Great price for a Trane . Great service

Work went extremely well and right on proposed schedule. They were very courteous, explained there work in detail and worked with us to tailor R&R schedule around other work we had performed.

They were very quick to respond with an appointment. They were very professional and respectful of my husband and me, as well as our home and our furnace. Not everyone is clean and respectful of your property. They did an excellent job! They took the time to explain to us in detail, and educate us about our furnace. They were very honest and fair about the price. They did not try to pressure us or up sell us. They were very honest, professional and informative. I would absolutely recommend this company to friends and family members. It's rare to find a company like this, especially in the heating and cooling industry.
