JTB Innovations LLC

JTB Innovation provided timely, complete and very acceptable service. I can only note good and positive experiences relative to the quality of service and the company representatives. When I took my annuals bids for the 2015 mowing season another company edged JTB Innovation out during my apples to apples comparison. This was the only reason I discontinued my service.

They were prompt about coming out to give me an estimate and that seemed to go well. Based on that conversation, I was expecting my yard to be cleaned up, trimmed, mowed, and edged as well as all the downed branches removed. They came out on a Friday for the estimate and told me they would be in touch early the next week to schedule a time to do the work. By Wednesday when I still hadn't heard from them, I messaged them and was told it would probably be the following week and that they would call or e-mail the day before. I got an e-mail on the morning of the same day they came out so I had no opportunity to be there to know what they were doing or that it took 4 hours to do. I was disappointed to find that the yard was not edged or mowed. They did remove a big pile of branches, raked leaves, and trimmed some bushes but I have a hard time believing that took 2 men 4 hours to do that. Not a horrible job, just not what I expected. For $170, I want to be there to see what I was getting and therefore I will be trying elsewhere in the future. When I messaged them about my concerns, I was told they thought my tenant would mow my lawn because I mentioned that's what I had be doing but the purpose of me buying the Angie's List deal was to find a landscaper to start taking care of my lawn instead of unreliable tenants. Better communication and scheduling practices would be beneficial to this business.

It went great, I would recommend them to anyone.

They let me know when they would arrive via text and showed up right on time. I had to leave the house in the middle of their work so they also let me know when they left and what they'd completed. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and professional and I'd absolutely use them again.

Showed up on time, and listened to my concerns and areas of focus. The whole crew was extremely professional, and worked very efficiently. I would absolutely use them again!

I purchased a deal for yard clean-up. It took a couple of weeks for them to come out and do the work, but it was worth the wait! A team came out and they did a fantastic job cleaning up the area, including laying dirt around some bushes, leveling it and organizing the decorative rocks that I had around the beds back into place. The yard looked great when they were finished! They did everything I asked them to and more. I plan to use them in the future to lay mulch this spring and clean-up the yard again.

Rescheduled, rescheduled and never showed up.

It went well - except they did leave the back gate open and I have dogs.

JTB Innovations was on time and far exceeded expectations. He provided extra services beyond the Angie's list deal, left the yard immaculate and hauled away all of the debris. Outstanding job!

Jason and his crew arrived as scheduled to perform general yard clean-up. This was an Angie's List deal of $169.00 for two men at two hours. However, Jason brought a crew of 6 + men without an extra charge. They finished the job quickly and expertly. I was very impressed and will definitely contact him again for future services. The crew did a very thorough and professional job clearing the leaves from my property. I gave them a B on responsiveness because I had to email them a couple of times to get a response after the initial contact was made. But overall, I was quite pleased.

Mr. Bodie arrived promptly for a site consultation to confirm the services that were going to be performed. He was professional and seemed knowledgeable about landscaping services. We agreed on scheduling for the 2nd week of November and a confirmation email would follow. Unfortunately, after the initial site consultation, I did not hear back from Mr. Bodie.

Jason and his crew did a great job. The yard looks 150% better.

I could not get a proper response from the service provider, at this point I am going to request a provider.

This seemed reasonable, but after confirming an appointment after several scheduling attempts, he was a no-show. There was no follow-up attempt to contact me to explain what happened or to offer to reschedule. I am anxious to find a lawn/yard care clean-up provider at this time of year, before snow fall and I don't have time to wait. Please issue a refund for this no-show. Thank you.

They charged us a high price just to clear our driveway. They didn't even do the sidewalks or salt. We had to call them directly - we didn't have a contract set up. When we asked about why the cost was so high, they just told us that that was the cost. We probably won't use them again for snow removal.

Jason's guys did a great job plowing our driveway. We've used his company for the larger snowstorms for the last few years. He gets us done pretty quickly for a residential service since the commercial clients get priority. He is very responsive and very easy to deal with. Thanks!

JTB is very professional. They mow, trim, and edge weekly for us, and their price is reasonable. Once, they asked if I wanted them to cut because the lawn hadn't grown too much. They are considerate, and respectful of the property. I'd highly recommend them!

I had sod installed around April 2013. Initially, the lawn looked great, although i did see overlapping sections of sod. I watered it daily for 2 weeks, and frequently after that. I noticed after several weeks that the section under the shade started to brown and die. I wasn't sure why since we both went over this area which was heavily shaded, and he informed me that he will use sod resistant to shade. I informed him about this via email, and it was about a couple of days to a week before he responded. He said I had two options: we can cut out the dying areas and apply some grass seeds and soil, or he can re-sod the area, both of which will be a new cost. I didn't want to pay more after only having the grass for a month. It has now been about 4 months since I've had it done and there are huge areas of dying grass. I've watered it as best as i could, and avoided walking on it. When mowing the grass, I have the lawn mower set really high so as to have the 3 inch desired length. At the rate the grass is dying, it looks like it will be all dead by fall.

He's very good. He did a fabulous job. He's very dependable. Our lawn always looks nice.

Jason was excellent, came out to my home to give me an estimate on some work to redo my yard, plants etc.. I had gotten several estimates (4) from company's that I located on Angie's. Even though I did pick a different company he still did a great job with the estimate & paperwork for the HOA. I greatly appreciate his time & cooperation. I would clearly think of asking him again in a heart beat if I needed any additional projects done.

The owner described what would be done. I trusted him to do the work well. After it was done, I inspected it. The work was done, but an additional wrork was done. Two trees were trimmed. I liked one, but the other I did not like what was done. There were other bushes trimmed, that I did not expect to be trimmed.

We had a previous contractor for our yard work who did not show up for several weeks. He kept assuring he would come and clean everything up, so we were not too worried about any overgrowth. Well then our contractor decided he was going out of business, so here we were stuck with a ridiculously overgrown yard and no one to service it. I did a search on Angie's list and selected 4 companies based on good reviews. This was on Monday, July 30. I still have not heard back from 2 of them, and one stated I was not in their service area. But Jason from JTB not only responded right away, but due to the urgency behind my request (our HOA was definitely going to fine us here shortly) he said he may be able to do something right away. So I gave him my address. He came out right away, looked at the lawn and sent me a price quote via email which was VERY reseasonable for what was required. I agreed to the price, then asked him whether he could do it that same day, even though it was ALOT of work. I didn't get an immediate response, so I thought he was thinking I was crazy for even asking such a thing on such short notice. I then drove home from where I was and arrived to find 3 people already started on the yard! Unbelievable! They were all very nice and polite, and it took them about 2 hours or less to finish the entire yard. Now, just to put this in perspective, I sent my first email to the 4 lawn companies at 10:50am, and my yard was immmaculate as of 2:30pm. This is unheard of service. Do I think they could do that all the time? Probably not. I wouldn't expect same day work, as I'm sure some days they are busier than others, but the fact that he not only got in touch with me right away, but was willing to take on this mess on such short notice and didn't gouge me with pricing (as he could of, since no one else even responded right away) I was shocked. I still am. I think I love this company in an unhealthy way at this point. :) Because of their awesome work, we will use them going forward for all of our maintenance and yard care. Their pricing is definitely very competitive, which is surprising because considering their service compared to others, they could probably charge more and get away with it. I hope they don't! :) But they definitely could. Awesome company, wonderful communication, and the owner of our house came out the other day and stated "The yard looks better than it has ever looked before." He had no idea that it looked like a jungle the day prior. That's how good they were. I almost hesitated in writing this review, because I hate when my favorite contractors or vendors get so swamped that it's hard to get them anymore, but it was such a great experience that I wouldn't feel right not writing one. These guys are great. No phone tag, or leaving messages, we did all our communication via email quickly and efficiently.

JTB Innovations maintains my lawn. They do a great job. Excellent price. I wish they pulled weeds while they were mowing and edging the lawn. They also did my mulch and spring clean up. Great price. My only issue is that weeds came through the mulch soon after they replaced it. I use them for all my lawn care/landscaping needs. And I will continue to use them.
