I had used High Tech Auto and Truck to upgrade the brakes in my Jeep Wrangler JK. A few days ago I got a brake warning light show up on my dashboard and noticed that there was brake fluid bleeding out of the right front tire. I drove to work and called the shop up as soon as they opened up. I went there right after work. These guys looked at my brakes and had me in and out in no time flat, and the real beauty was that there was no charge at all. High Tech Auto and Truck stand behind the work they do, that is why I will not take my Jeep anywhere else for maintenance or upgrades.

I was looking to put new, larger tires on my truck. They talked through options and we settled on using wheel spacers and adding a bit of lift to ensure the new tires would not rub. The guys at the front desk know their business. Customer service and follow-up were outstanding. They dId a quality job and I was very happy with the result. I would definitely use them again.

I called on Wednesday to made an appointment for Friday at 0800. I arrived a little before they opened up and was greeted and let in. The lights replaced in no time at all. While the lights were being installed it was nice to speak with Brandon about other upgrades that I would like to make to my jeep. I like the fact that this is a small family owned business where they know you by name. The staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. The customer service and professionalism are second to none. It is definitely an auto service and repair company that I will continue to use in the future and wholeheartedly endorse.

High-Tech auto is a winner. Always friendly, courteous and professional. They do not gouge you or try to up sell service/parts not needed. They start when your appointment is set to start and return your vehicle on time.

Again on 6/18 High-Tech performed the services promtly and professionally. They even gladly used filters I had from when I did oil and filter changes my self. No extra charge for customer supplied parts. High-Tech also made a list of recommended services but did not apply pressure or scare tactics to sell these services. Simply explained what they saw in the way of service life and wear and tear.

Excellent. I called first to see if they did such work and they said the could but to bring it by just to be sure. When I brought the pars and the RV by they said they could do it the next day so I left it. Sure enough they called with a reasonable cost and install time. They completed the work quickly and professionally. I highly recommend them.

I have grown up in the Northern Virginia area and for the most part gone to the same garages that I got to go to with my Dad starting in the mid-60's. Long term customer loyalty builds trust between the parties and, some times, a break on the price. In the spring of 2010, I needed to modify the tires and ride height on my 2003 Dodge Durango... not an easy thing since that was a transition year for the suspension and no after-market kits exist like they do for the pre-2002 and 2004 and on models. So I needed help. When I started doing the research, found that most places didn't want to touch the job and those that wouldone. A lot to do the work, even the places where I had gone for years. When I called Bobby at High-Tech Auto and Truck Center, he said and quot;...bring it on by, and we'll take a look.and quot; While, Chantilly is a hike from Springfield, it seemed like these were the only folks who may be able to help me. Driving onto their lot, I could tell that they knew their stuff in regard to SUVs from the number of that type of vehicle parked in front of the shop. Bobby came out and we discussed for a good 20 minutes what I want to do and what the best solution would be. We came up with a plan and to my pleasant surprise, the cost was very reasonable for the type of work I wanted done. He called back to let me know that the work had been completed. What is more, the work was completed a day ahead of schedule. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was that I had a nice, clean truck. Bobby suggested that before we settle the bill, we go for a ride. We took the Durango out for a test drive and I found that the handling had indeed improved and I was very happy with the result and new look of the truck. When we got back, another pleasant surprise was that the work came in at below the estimate! The work was super, the vehicle is clean inside and out, the price was right and all the folks at the shop displayed a customer and quality oriented attitude. And I was even offered a soda for the ride home. My entire first experience with High-Tech made me feel like I had been doing business with them for years, complete with the feeling of trust for the work that they had performed. Since then I have taken all of my vehicles to High-Tech for repair, routine service, and a few more customizations. Bobby always provides straight-up and accurate estimates and his mechanics complete a thorough check of the vehicle recommending maintenance items and repairs prioritized by importance and urgency for me to consider. These are *not* just add-on items so they can make another buck. Their prioritization and expert opinion help me to make a decision that stays within my budget. They keep and provide me with a copy of meticulous records on the service that was done and the work that was recommended (handy for when I can get to it.) My wife says I am not the easiest person to please but High-Tech has never failed to exceed my expectations. They have proven the capability to work on three distinctly different vehicles, the Dodge Durango, a Saab 9-3 Aero, and the Mercedes-built Dodge Sprinter 2500 Van with a five-cylinder diesel engine. High-Tech Auto and Truck Center has my strongest possible recommendation. Even if you have a long time loyalty to a particular garage, you owe it to yourself to at least give them a call and have them provide an estimate, then, experience excellence.

I had trouble on my 2001 Lexus IS300 on what was called the and quot;accelerator pedal position sensorand quot; and heater. I brought it in and left it and was soon contacted with a list of maintenance concerns including the replacement of this sensor, but nothing mentioning the heat issue. I did appreciate them taking the time for a full maintenance review, and they were very professional and expedient, but I would have liked it if they would have focused more on the issue initially.
When I met with Kristin, she was very knowledgeable and helpful, probably the most professional person I've ever met at a mechanic. Also, I met with the actual mechanic working on my car and he too was very knowledgeable on the issue and professional. The issue with the sensor was resolved and I decided to wait on the heat as the car was not needed at that time. Good thing too... They quoted me about $1200 to resolve the heating issue, apparently the core was fine, it turned out to be the servos that operate the air mixture, temp gauge, and recirculated/outdoor air feed through the core. Being a DIY when I can, I researched the parts and typical cost of replacing one or all the servos and found that this was a typical price range for this service. However, that being said, the quote from them did not outline how many servos would be replaced, but upon research, each new one cost about $170! So in my opinion, any mechanic charging that much for this procedure that I did myself is just plain overcharging! I know they have to make a profit and I do not fault them for that, but when it comes to this kind of work, I'll do it myself.
However, due to the fact that High Tech is upfront, professional, has a great warranty and were able to resolve my issue with no headache, I will use them again for the items on their maintenance checklist, as it was very comprehensive and the estimates shown for these looked more than reasonable!
And below, just FYI Angie's List, is my address, not the mechanic address. How this is a mandatory field when this is automotive work that was performed at High Tech garage, I have no idea. You may want your IT web designer to look into this.

Really easy to work with. Called on Wednesday and brought it in on Thursday. The mechanic knew what he was doing and was not bashful about showing me what work needed to be done and why. I was very pleased that they could do the work the same day.

They have a nicer-than-usual waiting area and I camped out for a few hours. They completed all the work correctly the first time and for a fair price. High Tech is now my and quot;go-toand quot; shop for my truck.

My car broke down in early June; I received a tow via my AAA service and was taken to this provider. They gave me a ride to my workplace and contacted me later with an estimate for repairing the radiator assembly. I Compared notes with some of my coworkers and the price quoted for parts and labor seemed to be relatively reasonable. The work was performed within 24 hours and I was able to pick up my car the following afternoon -- whatever delay occurred was due to the lack of availability of parts.

I was happy with the service performed and have had no further issue to date with the radiator assembly on my vehicle. I will probably not go back, but only because the service center is not in a location which is convenient for me -- if it were, I probably would.
