Vince from Grout Doctor did a remarkable job cleaning, sealing, and re-caulking 2 showers. He was prompt, thorough, meticulous, and great to deal with. Grout Doctor provides quality work at a very reasonable price. We are delighted with the result -- both showers look like new!

Christine and her team did a remarkable job! I couldn't be more pleased. This was a big project as all three of my bathroom showers and floors are filled with white square tiles. They came on time early and spent the whole day here and didn't leave until the job was done. They were very hard-working and neat. They left my place clean, and I inspected all the grout when it was done and it was done in a very neat way. As we all know, putting new grout lines require very neat, meticulous work. They absolutely did that and I keep telling Christine I am so glad I found them! I also love the atmosphere of their team and people as everyone is so friendly and nice. We could chat and laugh together. Christine and her husband Mr. Williamson are also super nice people. Mr. Williamson installed a new stylish shower floor for me and it was perfect. Richard was friendly and informative about the process of grout cleaning our kitchen, master bath, and laundry room floors (lots of traffic over 10 years). He gave us a great deal on our job and we booked Grout Doctor right away. When Vince came to do the work, he was professional and his work was stellar. From the beginning, Christine and Bill were amazing. After calling several other contractors who were not able to get to us until to until 10 days from the call, The Grout Doctor came the next day and completed the work less than a week later for a VERY fair market price! Their Lead Technician Erik was prompt and professional. He was stuck in traffic and even though he was still on time, he called to let me know he might be late. He got right to work and did an impeccable job. Grout Doctor will be our first, last and only call for any tile work in the future.

We called and set up an appointment for an estimate. No one showed up at the set time. We called and left a message to try to find out if they were coming or need to reschedule, but no one called back.

What a wonderful surprise! For a price 80% less than 4 remodelers estimates, the Grout Doctor turned our moldy, ugly bathroom into a functional, useful, and beautiful room with permanent fixes! We were selling our house and I did not have a lot of money to sink into more repairs, but I wanted to fix the bathroom so it was clean and functional. I got 4 quotes from remodelers and they were all over $10,000 and they insisted on doing the whole bath (for even more money) even though I did not want it done! I tried cleaning the tile myself, but I could not get it clean enough, so I thought maybe a grout company could do that. My first call was to Grout Doctor and I knew when I met the President (Richard) who came out to give me the estimate that my worries were over. His professional and knowing demeanor ensured me his team would make our dismal room look like a new bath! He planned to start within a weeks time. Everyone showed up on time and got to work. The existing tile was old and laid in an 80s quick and lifeless format. Nothing was square, the new tiles that needed to be installed that I chose were a different thickness and well oversized compared to what was already there. I had no sense of design but the tile man (Todd) asked me a few questions then went about figuring how he could make it work. After neatly demolishing and rebuilding the moldy surface (fixing the drainage issue as he went), he came up with a very expert modern inlay that made the entire bath look new and beautiful! When it appeared the work may not get done on time, additional men were brought in from another job for an hour or so to stay on schedule. The regrouting (Vince) and polishing went very well and replacing the ceramic base went well too. Some tile had to be relaid where it had come loose from the missing grout. In 2 days time (as promised) I had two new, beautiful bathrooms with regrouted and shining tile throughout! The fix was not cosmetic, but a permanent solution. The house was now ready for sale! The men were friendly, focused on their work, and a pleasure to get to know. They knew their work, were highly skilled, and they were particular and patient to make sure everything was done right. They invited me to watch them as they worked to see why I did not get it right. I could not have been more pleased with their work!

Looks like a new floor. They needed to inject considerable stabilizer because builder's subfloor was subpar. When asked, they came back within a few days to touch up grout. There were minor (barely noticeable) chips in two floor tiles they replaced, but they would have had to dig up numerous tiles to correct this because of the extent of stabilizer used. The owners and workers were very pleasant, punctual and professional and were very helpful with advice and maintenance for the future.

This is my second time using this company to regrout and caulk areas in my home. They are very professional and punctual. They were very accommodating with scheduling and returned my phone calls promptly. It took them about 4-5 hours to do the master bathroom and hall bathroom floors. They left clear directions for when we could walk on the floors again and when the floors could get wet. I am very pleased with their work, and my bathroom floors look like new!

Never returned my call

I first met Mr. Williamson at the Dulles Home Show in the fall of 2015. I was slightly outside of his service area but he was willing to come anyway. I explained that I had a large project scheduled and would contact him when I was ready to do the work. In September of 2016, I called the number listed on his brochure and on their website but it was no longer in service. So I filled out an on-line request. I received a call from Mrs. Williamson several days later. Noting I was outside their normal service area, I explained the conversation I had with her husband, so she made an appointment with me for the upcoming Friday at 10:30 and asked if I would be willing to have the work done on a Saturday which I was. Mr. Williamson was a no-show and didn't call either. I searched my call records and found the number from which Mrs. Williamson had called me and left a message that perhaps there had been a miscommunication. It's now been more than a week since I called her after the no show and have not received a return call. This is extremely disappointing in light of the other reviews.

Richard Responded dright away to my message and came out and gave me an estimate.  Vince came proptly at 8"30 as stated.  He worked 8 hours without taking a break and the whole bathroom now looks like brand new.  Also cleaned the floor and all the tile in the shower.  He said that he might take some time to do the job because he likes to do it right.  Thats refreshing now as most people just don't. care.  I will tell everybody what a good experience this was doing business with the Grout Doctor. High recommend them.

Grout Doctor was responsive in scheduling the estimate. The inspection was efficient and informative. The installer was on time and all work was performed neatly and effectively. I was having difficulty located someone to perform this work. Thankfully I found Grout Doctor. Not only does the grout look fresh and new, I feel relieved that I have prevented possible mold.

Polite and friendly, Before just getting started he went over the Job and cost, happy they made sure to get everything I wanted to get done was noted he then grabbed his tools and got to work. once he was finished he asked me to inspect his work, I was shocked at the before and after a clean and color seal could do. brought the floor back to life!! the kitchen and entry way look amazing!! Best of all, I was able to change the color of the grout to better match the tile.

Richard came out and gave us a very thorough estimate and his professional recommendations based on our situation.  Not only did Richard give us the estimate, but he was also onsite with his crew to perform the work.  Erik from his crew was prompt, courteous, professional and an absolute perfectionist.  He went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction.  In a world where good customer service has all but become a thing of the past, Erik restored our faith in young adults' being able to deliver exceptional customer service!

After many years of trying to deal with getting that nasty black moldy gunk from underneath my grout and caulk jobs in my bathroom I finally gave up and called the Grout Doctors. They showed up to do the inspection of how the job would be and give me a price. With the price they gave me I could not resist and was so ready to get this nasty look out of my bathroom! Within the week they were calling me to schedule the appointment to come out and do the work. And within the next 3 weeks (due to my schedule) they were out on the job making my bathroom look brand new! The grout doctors showed up and were very professional and very respectful of my home. I would recommend them to anyone with how great of a job they did and how respectful and knowledgeable they are!

The job went very well and smooth. Everything was explained with excellent knowledge of what was being done. When one of the tiles did not look right the grout doctor showed and explained what he needed to do to fix the tile for us. Even with the tile needing to be adjusted the job was completed in a shorter amount of time than was originally designated!! They were very professional and knowledgeable about the process of there work. When the job was completed it was explained on how to properly care for the new addition to my home. It looked like I had a brand new bathroom!!!

Looks great.  Can't tell where the repairs were made.  The grout looks new!  Then sealed all the grout.  The water is running off the grout lines, so I believe the sealer is really working.  Richard was here right on time. He conducted himself very professionally and worked very hard.  No break time. I am very satisfied with the job. And for the amount of time he worked, the cost was very reasonable.
