Crown Floors

We’ve got our entire ~ 5000 sft wood repolished with kitchen floor replacement. We also got all new carpets for all 3 levels done by Crown Floors. Willy is very knowledgable, an excellent person, very honest and transparent. He guided us in the right direction. He never went into price wars with the other company we were talking to. He gave us the best price and focused on quality and service. He came multiple times to our home and his crew was very professional and pro at what they do. I would always give him business next time and I highly recommend him for best quality, service and price. ???

Good experience. Helpful staff when we chose new flooring. Large selection of tile, carpet, and hardwood to choose from. Reasonably priced. Installers were on time and did a great job.

Crown Floors has a very nice showroom of carpet to choose from coupled by great customer service. Bruce was the sales person I dealt with and his knowledge or carpet and the install process made the entire process easy. The install crew did a great job with install, furniture moving and cleanup. I had a tight timeline to get the carpet installed and they were able to take care of me. Thanks!!

We have been using crown floors for over 10 years. They have done carpeting, wood flooring and tile work. Each time we have had great results and have been very happy with the service and quality of work. Willy is so accommodating and sometimes he will bring the samples to our home making it very convenient for us. We highly recommend crown floors for all the services they provide.

The job went very well. The installers arrived on time and worked steadily. They dealt with a minor unexpected issue with the sub-flooring. They were also very careful moving the furniture and put everything back with our direction. They also reiterated the advantages of this particular flooring and care/maintenance. They used an excellent underlay on the stairwell for the new carpet installation. I can really feel a difference. This is our second job for Crown Floor. We have been pleased both times and will be talking with them again for the next flooring job.

Crown Floors does excellent work! We would highly recommend them to all! A few years ago when our home was new, we had Crown Floors carpet our entire basement and stairs, and we were so impressed that we didn't even shop around when it came time to replace the carpet upstairs--we went straight to Crown Floors! I worked personally with Willy--he's polite and very helpful. The crew he sent out to lay down the carpet was also polite and I was very comfortable having them in my home. In fact, my son and I were trying to carry an old sofa down a flight of stairs--nothing to do the carpeting job--and one of the crew took over my part and hauled the sofa for me, really going the extra mile. They did a terrific job all in all--the carpet looks beautiful! Oh, they also restretched the carpet in our master bedroom and closet that had, over time, gained several big wrinkles all across, as though it were too big for the floor. Looks SO much better! (To clarify, that carpet was originally installed by the builder, not Crown Floors.) Great service!

I cannot recommend Crown Floors enough! From beginning to end the process was seamless and not stressful.. Willy and Bev were both so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. The communication throughout was incredible and very efficient. We absolutely LOVE our new carpets. The installers were great - courteous, fast, and careful with the walls and clean up. The entire process was great. From the time I walked into the showroom to final payment, everything was timely and happened as they told me it was going to happen. The workmanship is beautiful! I wanted to keep the center section of the wall-to-wall carpet where the TV and Sectional sofa were, so they had to cut around that area so it would replicate an area rug. (My wall to wall carpet isn't even a year old, so wanted to save some of it.) They expertly cut my carpet and put transition strips to match the Cortex planks around the edges of the carpet. Their carpet guy came the next day to restretch and tack down the carpet. It looks beautiful! I couldn't be happier with final product. I highly recommend Crown Floors and will use them for future jobs.

I can never say enough wonderful things about this company. From the moment I walked through the door and spoke with Willy about my flooring needs, I felt so comfortable knowing I would be paying for quality flooring, service and impeccable installation of the flooring and carpet in my home. There was no pressure sale and was given lots of choices and some very good advice on the best flooring for my needs. The gentlemen who installed the carpet showed up as scheduled to work and they never stopped working! They were meticulous with the installation and they did a beautiful job! And on top of everything, Willy came to check in to see how everything was going. Thank you Crown Floors for making my home beautiful!

The installers were very neat and careful while installing the carpet. No marks on the walls. Our furniture was moved gently. All scraps were removed and the carpet completely vacuumed before they left.

Excellent. The work was performed in one day with good quality. In particular it is worth noting one bedroom that had pieces of bulky heavy furniture. Somehow the installers were able to deal with this and do a pristine install.

First mistake I made was not going with grout. I liked the look without, and was told by the salesperson that they would put a sealer in the seams. Apparently they found out just before-hand that the sealer was no longer offered by the manufacturer, but I was not informed of this until after the install. In the picture attached you can see that the alignment is not pristine (I am extremely fussy on this), and it carried on throughout the entire installation area (though to be honest, it was not very noticeable from standing height). Use of grout may have made this less of a concern. The explanation I got was that the tiles are not uniformly precisely the same size. Not sure I agree with this, and I feel the job may have been rushed. There was a mis-cut tile by my dishwasher that they replaced. Also, the installers did not clean up after the installation as well as you would expect. When all was said and done, I decided to eat the cost and replace the tile with hardwood like the rest of my main level. Again I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and that drove my decision.

At the end of the day I'm OK with the work performed. There were a number of small nicks and dings that I had to have touched up, and I asked to have one board replaced due to a crack in the corner (1st picture attached). What kept them from getting an "A" is the number of items that had to be addressed that I believe could have been avoided if the installers were more careful and took more time and care in doing the work (there were 2 days allotted for the installation, they completed in 1). IMO, some of the nicks and dings should have been noticed by the installers and different boards used. Note, the last picture is of a board with a damaged corner that I had puttied, but in hindsight would have had the board replaced. The owners were generally responsive to my concerns, but I would probably consider other options for hardwood installation if I were doing this over.

Work was great! The total experience from visiting the showroom to final product install was first class. Staff at the store were very helpful and accommodating; I had borrow several samples on multiple occasions and it was never an issue. The install crew was on time, willing/able to answer any/all of my questions, and did a great job with installation. I would 100% hire Crown Floors again for any flooring project!

Since the house is occupied they had to move all our furniture in order to carpet the living room and three bedrooms. They were very careful with our things and made sure to put everything back the way we had it. They were very professional and courteous. And the carpet is beautiful - they did an excellent job of installation. We plan to use them again to carpet our new home before we move in. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a great experience - from the selection process to installation. They helped us choose a product that would work well for us. The installation crew showed up on time and did a great job.

I rarely give all A's, only if the service is excellent; and the price is very reasonable. Crown Floors met these high expectations; and actually exceeded them. I did the work necessary to get 3 estimates from 3 highly rated firms on Angie's List. I only considered firms with all A and B ratings; and only a few Bs. I did everything I could to spend my money wisely. Crown is the best of the best on Angie's List; best price and best service and workmanship. I cannot say enough good things about Beverly, Willy, and the installation crew. Thanks to them all for making this a most excellent purchase!

Work was done on schedule, clean up was good, and very happy with finished results.

Their services were outstanding. The installers came at the day and time promised and immediately went to work. I showed them some of my concerns with squeaky floors and also an area with a "dip" that turned out to be a previously patched sub-floor that was only partially supported by a joist. All of these areas were fixed in addition to a superior installation of the carpeting. The installers were professional, polite and extremely hard-working. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend this company.

When we were not sure what colors we needed, Beverly worked with us and suggested great ideas. She picked the exact floor we got just by our description of what the kitchen may look like before we even had the cabinets. They worked with us when we had delays and installers were so clean and quiet. A fantastic experience!

The work required matching and tying the new hardwood into existing hardwood. Now that it's done, we can't tell where the edge was. It is seamless and beautiful and we are very happy. Bruce came out promptly to give us the estimate and scheduled the work quickly. He also followed up with us while the work was being done to make sure we were happy and any concerns were addressed. The workers were knowledgeable and respectful of our time and home. They worked hard and got it done quickly. We will be using Crown Floors again to replace the carpet in the bedrooms.
