I needed a simple replacement part for my older swingset and I was willing to pay for it.  I went to the location and was told that they could not sell me the part there, that I had to go through customer service.
The man provided me with their email and phone number.  He recommended sending an email with description and pictures explaining what part I needed, waiting 4-5 business days, then calling the number and reminding them that I had already sent an email...  Wow, okay.
So I write an email, wait about a week, and call the phone number to talk to a rep.  Well, you don't actually get a rep, you get an answer machine where for the first 5 minutes they tell you to hang up and send them an email instead.  I left a voicemail explaining I had sent an email already and just wanted to follow up.  The voicemail system says to expect a call back within 24 hours, which never happened.
Granted I was just looking for a replacement part for a playset.  However, now that I see how their customer service works, I would never consider buying one of their units.  They claim to pride themselves in their fantastic warranties that they offer, I can't even begin to imagine how difficult it would be to actually have a problem fixed if something came up.

Creative Playthings helped us design a set that would meet our expectations and modified original plans to address size and space requirements. Was impressed with the guy that installed it - on his own!

It worked out extremely well, I'm very pleased. They were extremely friendly, very accommodating, they paid attention to detail. I was worried about a stain and they did their best to remove it.

It went excellent. I was very pleased with it.

They are really professional, their products are really trustworthy.

I would definitely use them again in the future. There was only one guy who installed the whole thing. He did it himself. His work was amazing. He has been doing it for 15 years.

First of all, i got and end of season, demo model half price sale. We originally called the store and they e-mailed us a picture of the unit. I spoke to the salesperson at length. I purchased it on the phone, and then went the next day to actually look at the unit. It was to my satisfaction. Ultimately delivery was scheduled fairly promptly (two weeks) and mulch installation one week later. The unit is outstanding. There are a few "checks" in the wood which is considered normal. I paid half price for the physical unit. I'm confident about that as I did cross shop other brands. The staff was fairly helpful, however the one salesperson I was dealing with end up quitting the job before I took delivery, so I had to then work with someone else. My kids are in love with it and we are very happy with the quality.

From the beginning all of their staff was very helpful and informative. There are so many options with different swing sets that it can get confusing but they always took the time to work it out and worked with us on a good deal. We went out to their showroom as well and they were great there too. The guy came to install it on time and so far the kids love it. The best time to shop for new swin sets is definitely the winter time!

I visited their showroom in Chantilly several times and had a positive experience, the people working there were very helpful in working with our backyard, even when I changed my order several times.

One of the reasons we chose this company was because they did the installation. They showed up early and surprisingly just one person assembled the entire set. He was very thorough and we haven't had any problems with either the installation or set. We're pleased with the structure, the quality of materials and the set up. We even got mulching tips and suggestions from the gentleman who assembled the set.

Creative Playthings did great work. The playset seems to be appropriate quality for the price, which is higher than the small sets you buy in a box, but less than half of some of the other companies out there. It appears sturdy and my son is having an excellent time playing on it. The service in the store was efficient and professional and there was a premium on providing a safe product. In fact, the staff would not sell me some of the higher priced options I wanted because there was not enough clearance in my yard. The installation happened on time and was fairly quick. When one person showed up to install it, I was really skeptical, but bravo. There are a few tweaks I'd like to it, such as the slide position creates a safety issue with a gap at the top--I can't tell if that's the install or design, but I'll be looking in to it. Overall, very good experience and definitely recommended.

All went fairly smoothly. There were aspects of the playground set that we did not realize (small openings, and no opening where we wanted to install an "add-on" fire pole). The person installing was knowledgeable and was able to make modifications to accommodate a door to the fire pole. He did seem to have a different opinion of what could and could not be done than the sales rep. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the one we purchased. I had played easily with my kids on the equipment in the showroom, but this one was smaller than i expected.

They were very responsive and did the scheduling promptly. They were great. They came out and looked at the yard before they decided on what products to use. They also looked at where they had to put mulch.

I contacted Creative Playthings in March, but because of so much rain, we didn't get the work done till May. When the work was completed, they arrived, tightened an replaced all bolts and sealed all wood.
