Eric was terrific! We had another electrician back out on short notice and Eric came through for us. He was able to come meet us at the house and arrived early and immediately began working on the problem. He walked us through the inspection report, his conclusions, and possible fixes. We couldn't have been happier with his services and will look forward to using All Powered Up for any electrical needs in the future. Thanks again!

Went excellent. The assigned technician was very clear in what and how he wanted to do. Ended up getting the source line via basement drywall and able to add a junction box and extended the line. Covered the cut open dry wall with a plastic cover . Very professional.

Perfect.  He is friendly, on time, clean, professional, and patient!  This was a pretty big project that he made so easy for us. I'm about to call him for additional work now...

The overall experience with them was fantastic.  The installer was Leonard who was a very hardworking, friendly and reliable employee.  He was both proud of his company and really prompt and courteous.  All work was performed promptly.  Eric, believe he is the owner, also showed up to the job the first day to scope the work and answer any questions.  He was very professional and very courteous.  He also made payment a breeze and did not give the hard sell a lot of places would have for other work.  He did discuss options I was interested in since I contacted them through Angie's List and told him I was interested in other work.  I feel bad about being late in providing this review because I would not only recommend them, they also really earned my repeat business.

I added a breakfast room to my house about 20 years ago and have always regretted not having recessed ceiling lights installed at that time. All Powered Up Electrics' deal of installing 4 ceiling lights for $389 gave me a chance to correct that oversight. The job went smoothly with a minimal amount of mess (which the electrician cleaned up) and a few hours later I had four new dimming ceiling lights. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.

This was a special offer by All Powered Up Electric through Angie's List.  I was contacted within hours of my request and we agreed on a day the following week.  The scheduled time was 7 a.m. and the contractor arrived on time and began work immediately.  The contractor was friendly and knowledgable, offering suggestions about the best placement for the lights and answering several questions I had about the installation.  When I came home from work the job was done, everything cleaned up and the lights looked like they were always there.  After a few hours one of the bulbs blew and the dimmer switch was emitting a low buzzing noise.  I had planned to replace all the bulbs with the more expensive daylight LED bulbs anyway because there are no windows in the room.  I called APUE and talked to an employee who gave me a suggestion for the best brand to buy and let me know that once these LED bulbs were installed the buzzing sound should diminish substantially.  He told me to call back if I still had any problems after changing the bulbs.  However, his recommendation for the bulbs appears to have solved both problems and things look great in the room.  I especially appreciated the fact that when I called about the bulb and buzzing the contractor was available and ready to help finish the job to my satisfaction.
I am very pleased with the work done by All Powered Up Electric.

I was very pleased with the initial consultation. Eric, the owner, had good ideas and steered me toward a money-saving design. The work took one day, with minimal disruption to electric service. He and Leonard were able to perform the cable runs without any drywall damage. I very much liked that they put in the effort to accomplish that.

There was a problem with a breaker, they were extremely responsive in replacing it. No problems since.

Highly recommend!

Excellent. Our house was under reconstruction and Eric was able to work with our conractor so both jobs got done at the same time. There was a minimal time without power, really never noticed it. Erik did the permits and took care of scheduling the inspector. Eric removed all debris and left the work area cleaner than he found it.
What precipitated this installation? An Angies list special! Plus a 40+ year old house with barely adequate power.
This was a job well done, by a professional at a reasonable cost. If you want to upgrade I strongly recommend Eric of All Powered Up Electric.

Wow!  Was completely impressed by Eric - my husband and I love him as do all we have referred to him.  Initially found Eric on Angie's list and liked the fact that he would offer advice as to placement of recessed lighting and fixtures since we had just settled on a new home and found our decorators prices a bit steep.     He was able to guide us on the recessed light placement as well as pendant placement.  Eric had a LOT of wire to fish through the ceiling (we had four cans in the family room, three in the office, four in the basement and five in the kitchen) and had to do a bit of exploring as well to determine exactly where the lights could go; and even though he had to make a lot of cuts in the ceiling, he was extremely neat and my painter even commented that he did a much nicer job than most electricians which made his job of patching a lot easier.
He also knew that I was getting bids for heated tile floors in my basement and made suggestions for which product to use, and ultimately did the installation for it since my installer would have had to hire an electrician for that part, so I saved money by using Eric for that part as well.  He also installed an electrical panel in my old townhouse that we are now renting out.  The townhouse was vacant at the time, but when we would go over there to do some work, had started to notice that the circuit with the furnace on it kept blowing, and there was a slight acrid burning smell which concerned us so we called Eric out to investigate and he removed the panel and saw where it had actually started to melt.  He had a job he needed to finish before he could do the replacement and since we were concerned about not having heat since it was so cold, he was able to do some sort of bypass so that the furnace could function during the interim before he could replace the panel.
I really can't say enough good things about Eric.  Not only does he do a great job, he is super neat and very personable as well.  I have referred him to my pickiest clients and even they love him.

The technician was meticulous in his search. He explained every step along the way in a profession manner in lay terms.  He even did some other minor work.  He was here more than an hour but charged for just one hour.

Eric was a pro. Came when he said he would, quoted me a price and met that price. Was well informed and did a fantastic job.

My wife and I were so thrilled with the job Eric did on our kitchen and dining room recessed lights that we had him back to install ceiling fans in two bedrooms and 5 recessed lights in the basement.  He was really helpful with the tweaking ceiling fans since initially the  were a little noisy. (I don't think I bought the best fans).  He helped us find just the right wall switches that looked great and performed flawlessly.  I'm so glad we put these in since running a ceiling fan is cheaper than running the a/c all the time.
In the basement he installed 5 recessed lights and 2 switches (one with a dimmer).  Eric did a great job of being very neat and thorough.

At first he thought he would only be able to install 4 lights but after careful measuring and planning around a gas line he was able to get the 5th light in which really pleased us.  Eric puts in a real effort when it comes to aesthetics and symmetry.  He makes an effort to make sure that the lights are lined-up perfectly and that all the light trims install "just so" and don't look haphazardly installed.  These lights have transformed our basement from being poorly lit to a fun place to entertain.
Yet again another job well done.  Thanks Eric and All Powered Up Electric!

I called Eric and we went over what I thought we wanted and we set-up a date where he came over to have a look.  He was very helpful in adding constructive criticism of where the lights should go.  He really knows his stuff when it comes to placement. His price seemed reasonable so I had him come back a week later. He did all the lights in about a day and a half and he was very conscientious about not trying to put too many holes in the ceiling or create a mess on the floor. He did a great job of cleaning-up after the job. The lights are fantastic and my wife and I are thrilled with the attention to detail he gave the job. Our new lights have really transformed the kitchen etc.  Eric was also helpful in helping us choose dimmer switches and light trims.

I was a little skeptical going with a smaller company until I spoke with the owner, Eric, via phone. He was extremely professional and patient! He helped me relocate all of my lighting and offered some suggestions to get better light over my counters. It worked! I believe he said that he had 18 years of experience. Job went very smooth. In fact, he even showed me where the wires on one switch were rubbing from a previous job/company - this could have caused a fire, ugh. But Eric corrected the existing problem without charge. In fact, I asked him to look at all of the other switches in my kitchen....no other issues. He added dimmer switches and completed all of my drywall work. I love my lighting system over the bar too. I plan on installing landscape lights this summer and will definitely call Absolute Electric to do the job!
