24/7 Grease Trap & Plumbing

The technician who responded to cleanout my septic tank informed me that my "sump pump" was bad and would need replaced. This was my first experience with a septic system in my life and was ignorant of various parts nomenclature. My home warranty covered sump pumps, so I cancelled 24/7 from cleaning my tank. When I learned my "sump pump" was just fine, but it was my septic pump that needed replaced (home warranty did not cover the septic), I called 24/7 back out to clean the septic so my pump could be replaced. The same technician came out as before and now informed me he would need to excavate to clean out my septic, although the overflow was occurring from my crock. Again, my ignorance and his inability to explain a septic system left me frustrated, but I paid them to clean out my pump chamber. They did not clean out my actual septic tank. I called Powell's Plumbing to replace my septic pump and they also came out to cleanout my septic tank (after a very professional technician from Powell's Plumbing explained a septic system to me, helped me dig {not excavate} a foot or so down to uncover my septic tank, and checked to see if my tank needed cleaning). The second time 24/7 came out, they cancelled my work order thinking it was a duplicate despite calling me to confirm the day before. I would not recommend 24/7 to anyone!

The gentlemen arrived on Saturday and looked at the pipe, took pictures but stated he did not have tools to repair it and asked to come back on Sunday.  He suggested I stick a bucket under the leak until he came back. He arrived on Sunday with a wrench and a small plastic bag with the piece to repair the leak.  Surprise that a professional plumber did not have the tools on the first day.
