The quality of the work was substandard and Shervin was terrible to deal with. The hardwood floors I had him refinish look bad, uneven sanding and black marks all over the place. The carpet was installed so poorly that the guys had to come back out two more times. On not one of their three visits did they bother to vacuum. To add insult to injury his crew managed to step in a cavity return grate they had removed to carpet around and caused, cracked the drywall underneath so badly it was hanging down six inches. Of course he didn't mention it. I sent photos and showed him exactly what happened and he still denied responsibility even though his guys were the only people in the house. The contract we had clearly said he would install thresholds and transitions but they didn't do it until weeks after the initial install. Even if Shervin wasn't difficult to work with, denying responsibility and ignoring the contract, the professionalism and workmanship of his crews is just bad.

Shervin was our POC and was very professional.  He was recommended to us by a neighbor, who received a recommendation from her realtor upon moving into her home.  Shervin's company did her hardwood and carpet and gave her exceptional customer service.  When we compared him to 2 other bidding company's his bid came in lowest.  He brought his team of counter specialists and cupboard specialists to the initial visits to discuss ideas.  They were both meticulous about notes and identifying what we wanted, giving us a proposal that came well within our budget.

The wood floor was high end and a beautiful 3" plank that we have been looking for, but unable to fit within our budget.  Shervin gave us pricing well within our budget since we were doing cupboards and granite as well.  His team arrived each day that they said they would and worked well into the evening.  They were very meticulous and professional.

His kitchen/cupboard and backsplash professional understood my style and recommended a backsplash, it was the piece that pulled my kitchen together.  I had a white, shaker style kitchen with black granite under the cupboards, and an island with black and white (with a little golden) granite.  The backsplash had stone and glass that blended the different tones and textures together and gave it a very polished look.

They installed a wine rack to replace an unusable cupboard above the refrigerator and it turned out beautiful. They even re-shimmed areas of the new cabinets to correct where the builders off-setting of the original ones.  Now we have centered cabinets that look like a magazine.

With the dark wood floors, the white cabinets pop, the granite sings and the overall look is exactly what I have wanted for years.  I highly recommend Shervin and his team to update the look of your home and stay within budget.

When the work was performed in 2010 we were assigned abroad and the house was occupied by tenants, so the work was contracted for by our property manager. We returned this summer to re-occupy our house. Since we were not here when the work was done, I cannot report on punctuality, politeness, etc. However, the poor state of the carpet installation is clear two years later: the pieces had never been sewn together at several seams, so there are obvious gaps of one-quarter to one-half inch between the pieces of carpet. In addition, we have to be extremely careful using the vacuum cleaner, since if we get anywhere near the seams threads come out and get wrapped around the vacuum's brush.
This was obviously a shoddy job. Unfortunately, our tenant did not complain, so we did not find out about it until two and one half years after the work was done.

The owner of this Centreville Square USA Carpet and Rug store (Shervin) was wonderful from start through to finish. He was highly recommended to us by another contractor who did painting in our home. Shervin came out to measure and give us a quote. We explained our budget to him and he showed us some flooring samples that would work. Shervin explained every detail about the floors since I was not familiar with engineered wood. He was patient while I walked around my house with the samples to see what wood color would work best with my furniture. He gave tips about not choosing a wood that is too dark as it will make a small home look even more closed in. When we finally made our selection, Shervin worked with us to break the total into 3 payments. He was awesome to work with. In addition, his installers were the best!!! They paid attention to every detail and they worked quickly but carefully. Our floors are beautiful and we are extremely happy customers. We will be purchasing new carpet from Shervin in August for our bedrooms. His customer service skills are excellent and I highly recommend him.

Overall the experience was great. The installers were right on time, and finished up very quickly. The owner (Sherwin) was very responsive to any questions I had, and continuously followed up to make sure the job went well. As I was finishing the project, a painter dropped a bucket of paint on the brand new carpet (as he was touching up). Sherwin came out immediately and swapped the carpet out (which was great because we had an open house the next day). I highly recommend USA Carpet.
