Ruben is very responsive. He walks through the job with you and provides a quote within 24 hours. His workers are professional, courteous and do a solid clean up at the end of each day. Price is excellent for the services provided.

TigersPAR got a higher paying job during the course of remodeling and rushed through the remodeling work. TigersPAR knowingly installed the wrong tile in the shower and I had to pay another contractor $1000 to redo the shower. TigersPAR also destroyed a floorboard in the process of remodeling and I had to pay to replace that too. The wire from the rewired fuse slipped out of the fuse because it wasn't properly tightened and I had to pay to have that fixed last month. Painting was ok. Several touch-ups required. They showed up to work on time, they had a good attitude, and they didn't steal anything, but overall very dissatisfied.

The quality of the painting job was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the owner was very responsive. The work was done on time , and cleanup was perfect. I highly recommend Yepez Services for exterior and interior painting.

Yepez Services has done work for us in the past with great results. When it was time for another project, we did not hesitate to contact them again.
Ruben gave us a detailed estimate on the both projects. Both were in dire need of repair and painting. His crew reported promptly on the assigned date, and Ruben inspected the process throughout. These were two complicated projects because we were sure there would be additional repairs once the project began, and there were.
The price was exceedingly fair, and the work well executed. Ruben was responsive and provided pictures of progress and conditions. The work site was clean and neat throughout and left clean at project completion.
The crew was professional and polite and worked diligently throughout both projects. Both projects were completed quickly and professionally.
We are very pleased with Yepez Services and highly recommend them. We will use them again.

The process went very smoothly. Ruben and his crew are efficient and professional. We were so pleased with their work (and attitude) that we decided to add a couple more projects to the initial plan. The team ended up having to work on the weekend since they had another job starting the following Monday. Even though they were pressed by time, they did not rush the job and were attentive from day 1 to the end of day 6. They also did a great job cleaning up at the end of each day.

Great. Ruben Yepez's team arrived on time EVERY morning and did fantastic work. Ruben stayed in touch with me via phone, text and e-mail. There were no surprises - just great work.

The experience was very unpleasant. When they complete a project for me there were problems. I expected them to make the repairs for me and make the corrections. They tried to bill me for the corrections. The biggest problems were the things they had done. The half wall of the shower was of such an angle that I was not able to put a sink in so I made the correct it by straightening the wall up. As a result he tried to charge me for straightening the wall and having it repainted. I told them no and that if they had put the wall in correctly the first time we would not have had that problem.

We've used Yepez Services for several jobs in the past, and have always been satisfied with the results, and this time was no exception. The price was a little higher than we were hoping for the work completed, but Ruben was very thorough with the work on the sliding glass door. After looking at it, he warned us that the whole door probably needed to be replaced, but that he would do what he could to help with the noise.

Our call to Mr. Yepez was returned quickly and a schedule time to come in to do the job was arranged for the next 3 days. He was prompt, professional, and did a very nice job.

I had three estimates performed before I selected Yepez Services to do
the work. Ruben Yepez, the owner of Yepez Services, provided an
excellent estimate of the plastering and painting job in my house. He
not only was very responsive, but his scope of the work was very precise
and helped me to decide how much would be done during the visit.
Although Ruben's estimate was not the cheapest, I decided to use his
firm because of his professionalism and commitment to keep the job site
as clean as humanly possible. Hector, Ruben's employee
who performed the work, was simply outstanding. His eye for detail and
his dedication to perfection were greatly appreciated by both me and my
wife. My wife and I both noted that Hector is an incredibly hard worker,
who always was punctual and careful when working in our house.
I was so impressed by the superior quality of Hector's work that I
have decided to use them for several other plastering and painting jobs
this spring.

Contractor was extremely helpful in discussing the projects with us. He was knowledgeable and assisted us in the design, product selection, and method of installation for the projects.
Contractor was very responsive to any modifications we wanted.
Contractor's workers were polite, understood what we wanted, and worked diligently and professionally. They cleaned the area after each project and asked if we were satisfied with their work.
I was very impressed with the professionalism, expertise, and speed of work. Their workmanship was exceptionally good. The owner was at the site every day to ensure that the work was being done with the highest of quality, and the attitude of the owner and the workers was fantastic--exceptionally positive. That attitude definitely showed up in the results--high quality workmanship!!!
I would use them again (and am currently scheduling them for more projects).

In every instance, Ruben and his team delivered outstanding work at or under budget. Our deck looks has been restored to pristine condition, looking exactly as it did the day we bought the house. I would definitely recommend Ruben for any household job.

Overall. I am very pleased with the work that they have done. I am please with the color and feel of the carpet that I had selected, and the padding is a good, quality dense padding. I can't be more happier. They are very nice workers and pleasurable to be around. The foreman (Rafael) had some problem comprehending and understanding your request, but he was very responsive to your request and eager to listen. He had a willingness to learn.
Carpet Installation
The carpet came in 2 rolls, not 1 contiguous roll. I wished the owner of the company inspected the workers and the material before the carpet was installed instead of just relying on their judgement. Now, I have a seam in the middle of the basement floor. The carpet that I had before was one contiguous roll; It had no seams. Also, they ordered enough carpet but the company didn't deliver the right amount, so a new remnant of carpet had to be ordered. One to fit the area in from the of the sliding glass door and one to fit the area in front of the stairs. I believe all this could have been alleviated if the owner of the company inspected everything before it is placed in my home. I wish the carpet wasn't in 4 pieces. That doesn't seem right to me.
They hired some carpenters to install the carpet. They did not show up on 12/14, when they did and finally did show up on 12/16/2011, they seems not too concerned that I was trying to clean the floor before they laid the padding. They walked all around me as if they were in a hurry. The foreman was there and said nothing, but maybe if the owner was there, I would have been given time to clean the bare floors before the new carpet and padding was installed. I did mop about 3/4 of the basement.
Catilever & Window Shutter (1)
I asked the company to cover the wood plug underneath my cantilever on the outside of my home to protect them from wind, rain and snow, instead they removed and threw away my wood plugs (that I recently purchased and replaced them with plastic covers that had slits in them). The cantilever was recently filled with installation and the holes were covered using wood plugs (instead of styrophome) to keep air out since it was outside, underneath the bedrooms. I then explain to them in detail on how they were to cover and protect the wood plugs. They were to caulk around each plug and cover the entire cantilever with 'COIL STOCK'. They replaced the wood plugs that were there before and caulked around each wood plugs and nailed the COIL STOCK to the cantilever as I asked. They charged me $400 for this project, plus nailed one shutter that fell to the front of the home. This should not have cost me no more than $235. I never saw a receipt for the supplies that were used expect for the coil stock which I called Lowe's and asked for the price. Another thing, the wood plugs were not the same size as the original wood plugs used, but the caulking (liquid nails) around the plugs may cover the space well enough to not let air in.
Baseboard
They trimmed and placed a 5-inch baseboards around the basement. wall. It looks very good. However, I wished I had the opportunity to add insulation behind the baseboard. The original plans of the home had insulation, but I was told I didn't need any, but in hindsight, I think I should had had insulation added., and should not had been told it was not necessary.
Waterproofing
I had a basement leak after a 2-day heavy rain. They were very proficient in fixing the leak from the inside. The area looks very neat. They offered a 30-day guarantee, and will come back in the spring to replace the DRYWALL. I'm not sure if it's best to fix a leak from the inside or outside, and wished I could had got recommendation from 2 other companies before proceeding with Yepez' offer, but one sure thing, I probably couldn't afford to have it fixed from the outside at this time anyway, so I'm pleased that I let Yepez Services fix the repairs from the inside at least.
Finally, I have not yet received in writing or verbally the warranty on the carpet installation, the name of the carpet, or the warranty period on the carpet itself.

A year earlier, another plumber had fixed a leak with the cold water handle of the faucet. It took him about 3 minutes, and the part was $10 - $15. However, the minimum visit fee was $96, so my cost was $110.
When the hot water started leaking, it looked like the same repair -- and a super simple one at that. Trying to save some dough, I had my deadbeat roommate look up a cheaper plumber (I intended to stay with the good plumber for real work).
Yepez was available, and quoted the job at $75. Mr. Yepez showed up and he brought a guy [let's call him Harry] who had recently come to this country. When they looked at it, they didn't know how to replace the inner part of the faucet like my earlier plumber (so the repair wasn't as simple or obvious as I had thought). They wanted to replace the faucet.
Mr. Yepez left, I drove with Harry to the local home depot, bought a new faucet, we drove back. He had to pull the pedestal sink off the wall to replace the faucet. After a couple of hours, the sink was fixed. Within a few months, though, the caulking of the sink to the wall has some holes in it (cause it's trying to pull off). I never had problems with that caulk for the previous 6+ years. Also, the new faucet is a little wobbly
Bottom line: They did everything they promised, but I probably won't use them again for plumbing.

Ruben is polite, professional and honest. Only problem might be that he underestimates the amount of time needed to complete a job, and then his workers might feel rushed to complete. However, he aims to please, and when I was concerned about one window, he returned to re-do it. When painting a laundry room door, some wood rot was discovered, he had the crew needed to fix it before
painting. He was the only person willing to remove and paint the house shutters, most other estimates were for paint in place, or replace for a lot more money. The job was well done, we are highly satisfied and will use them for future work. His crew is top-notch and very hard working.

Ruben and his team did a good job and we thought their charges were reasonable. The crew was very responsive to our requests to come back as follow up to do some minor corrections/changes. We were happy with the kitchen remodeling so we hired them to do addional remodeling works for our house including installing hardwood floor in the livingroom, installing new lighting fixtures and switches, and painting the entire house.

In order to prepare my house properly for a rental I needed not only painters, but someone who could do electrical, minor carpentry, flooring work, and cleaning services. Yepez services offered all of that plus the proverbial kitchen sink! My first impression of Mr. Yepez was very favorable. After getting several quotes from other GC's, Ruben was a pleasure to work with by comparison. He was attentive, asked questions when he had them, and was generally respectful while I detailed the work that I would like done. On top of the respectful attitude, Yepez Services also came out with a slightly cheaper quote than all of the others that I had received. All work was completed within the specified time-frame with very little hassle, and my house looked completely different (in a very good way) once the job was complete. The paint job was excellent and the carpeting sub-contractor they used gave a very fair price for a good quality product. All told, I am extremely satisfied with the work completed on my house and would highly recommend the Yepez brothers. I'm glad to know that I've found a contractor I can trust to get the job done.

They had to work with cutting 12" marble in the freezing cold and installing a large glass block window. They never made a mess and paid extreme attention to detail. They always went with me to Home Depot for materials so I wouldn't get the wrong items. The bathroom now looks so good that the rest of the house looks bad in comparison. I never thought it could turn out so nice. I highly recommend them - probably shouldn't rate them so high, as now they will always be booked when I call them again.

This was the first major project we hired this company for - the estimate was very fair and the quality of work was excellent. We have since used them for all sorts of jobs, ranging from small, carpentry and handyman type to large...and we never call anyone else now. They can do it all: from rug installation to electrical...Their prices are good, they always come on time, they work quickly and cleanly, and best of all, Ruben and his workmen are a pleasure to deal with.

The quality of the work was impeccable and the team worked quite fast. They explained each step of the process and were thorough and efficient. When the owner, whom I had been dealing with, had to leave town unexpectedly, his brother stepped right in. After a short confusion on my part, the work continued as we had discussed. Overall, I was extremely pleased with Yepez Services: they did the job as we discussed and all details were attended to. I didn't have to do anything.
