A fantastic service and experience!! After calling around to various moving companies who were asking outrageous prices to complete an hour's worth of work, I found Bill Lamb's Perfect for Small Moves company and was 110% satisfied with his pricing, quality of service, experience in moving large bulky furniture, professionalism, and communication. I would work with Bill again anytime and highly recommend him to my neighbors. I needed a complete set of guest bedroom furniture moved from one house to another within the same neighborhood within a short time frame. Bill was very prompt to my inquiry for service, within the hour, and was able to schedule the move to work within my schedule. The dresser I knew would be a burden as it is very large, heavy, and does not come apart. Bill and his crew expertly moved the dresser in a very efficient manner downstairs, outside to the truck, to the new house, then back up the stairs. I was very impressed with his experience and care in moving my items. It was a pleasure meeting Bill and working with his Perfect for Small Moves company.

I would absolutely recommend this moving company!! These two men showed up and moved an entire apartment’s worth of furniture, with really efficient truck loading, in a short period of time. They carefully wrapped all of our larger furniture and had experience with the buildings we were moving to. They were also significantly less expensive than the other movers we were considering — for a very high-quality move. 10/10 would recommend.

Bill and his team did an excellent job! They were professional, punctual, and efficient. They arrived on time, moved stuff carefully and fast, and packed everything very well in their truck. The whole process was smooth. They even helped to arrange our stuff in the storage unit in a way that we can easily find/access our stuff in the future if we need to. I was very happy with their job. I even asked him if he could help us move our whole house in 2 months. He said he sure could, but it would cost me more money because his truck might not be big enough and more trips and time might be needed. He is so honest. I would hire him again if I have small moves in the future, and will definitely refer him to my friends, too! Oh, one more important thing worth to mention, his price is very fair and clear, no any hidden charges!

This was the easiest moving experience I have ever had and hiring Bill was the best choice I could have made. Bill was easy to communicate with in order to coordinate my move and was punctual on moving day. He was efficient, careful, and clearly skilled so I had zero concerns about anything breaking or getting damaged in the move. Bill was wonderful to work with. He was responsive, great, and most importantly honest. With all the stories you hear about shady movers, this is such a nice change. We had a packed 1 bedroom and needed to move to a new 2 bedroom place - they made it super easy and stress free. They were flexible too - we had to move our moving date with no problem. I used Perfect for Small Moves to help me move from the top floor of a row house into my current unit. Bill and his team did a wonderful job transporting all of my bit items and boxes down two flights of very narrow stairs and into the truck, as well as helping me get everything into the unit. They were very careful with all of my possessions and made sure that the walls on both units were unscratched. The movers arrived exactly on time and we completed the move within the agreed upon range. They were extremely professional, but also friendly and receptive. The rates were also comparable, if not lower, than other movers I researched. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to do a small move (i.e., a studio or a one bedroom) in the DC area.

A very good move. They were on-time and knew exactly what they were doing. It all went just a bit faster than I expected, which was great. I was told ahead of time everything I needed to know.

Mr Lamb did an very challenging job extremely well. He and his associate moved a very heavy treadmill to my home. It did not fit through the garage door so he had to bring it through the front door which was a very tight squeeze. He set it up and made sure it was working before he left. Great work!

Excellent service and smooth move. Bill and his helper were very professional and did a great job getting large items down basement stairs. Very reasonable cost, there can be a huge difference with movers. I highly recommend this company. Bill even rented a larger truck to make sure the move could be done in one trip and save us time and money.
