Oaks Floors

They were very fast and efficient. We had a little language barrier but it didn t stop our plans and even so they saved me 180 for materials not necessary. They moved furniture and completely removed carpet, padding, tack strips, and all debris! When they finished, everything was clean and ready to live in! I highly recommended Oak Flooring.

Mr. Chun worked very hard. When there was any problems he corrected it right away. His helper wasn't very careful with the job.

Top notch workmen, I chose solid oak floors and they were expensive. But worth it to me. Absolutely gorgeous.

Started the job 4 days late. Multiple issues during the job. Promised that stair squeaks would be repaired and they were not. Found damage to laminate floor after they left. Lots of nail holes left in wood floors that were not covered / puttied over. He tried to install the wrong color stairs and was upset that I wanted the same color wood as the floors. Installers peed on my toilet and bathroom floor each day they were here. In general, I would not have them back in my home.

Great job of replacing and installing hardwood floors i 3 rooms and replacing baseboards in two rooms. Works hard to please his client and is proud of his work, as he should be.

He doesn't work fast, but he is very detail oriented. Good quality work done. I had slate flooring tile laid and shoe molding fixed in around 1000 sq. ft. area along with transitions and the molding was perfect. He did his best on the floor tile, but the imperfections in the material were challenging and took more time than estimated. I willingly paid extra for the effort. When we do wood flooring on the second floor, I'm calling him for the job.

Great quality work and attention to detail. His prices are reasonable and he does not sub out the work so you know who will be working the project.

Overall, I had a very mixed experience with Mr. Chun. I absolutely love the hardwood floors he installed, and the price absolutely couldn't be beat -- the quote other than his was for some simple vinyl flooring, for a price that was higher than Mr. Chun's real hardwood flooring. That being said, he was late for each appointment, although this might have been due to the recent blockade on the area streets. Mr. Chun does great work, but his assistant was less than stellar. He was sloppy, leaving nails sticking out of the wood, putty slathered everywhere, marks and dings all over the newly painted walls. His assistant even told me that he thought that the brand of flooring I was getting was bad and inferior, which I was simply stunned to hear, although I do believe he was incorrect. The quoted time to do the floors was 2 days, yet it took 3 days to complete, which essentially eliminated my Sunday weekend with my daughter. I would recommend Mr. Chun again, but I really think he needs a new assistant.

Best experience ever ! The quality and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. Oaks Floors had the best price and service. I highly recommend them for any hardwood or flooring needs. Don't need to shop for anyone else. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I was very pleased with the work done by Mr. Chun and his assistant. They replaced my family room carpet with wood flooring that matched other rooms in the house. The quality and appearance of their work is excellent, and the price was fair. The job was completed in one day and they cleaned up when they were done. I would definitely recommend Oaks Floors.

My floors are beautiful. Great Job was done and had a small issue and they came right back and made it right. Very nice and pleasant to work with, but communication is very difficult. I would recommend 1000 times over.

Mr. Chun is an artist. He did the most amazing job on installing flooring that would match my existing floors. His work is superb, his pricing is very fair and I would highly recommend him!
