We've used Chem-dry for years. Usually Pat comes out and cleans the carpet. They always do a wonderful job, they are never late, they're always very processional. They call when they are on their way or if they have an earlier appointment to see if that would work better for you. They are very customer oriented. The price is always great and the work is always worth it. The carpets always smell nice, look fresh, they can get any spots up, and the carpets look new when they leave. Last time they came my brother was here visiting from out of town and was so impressed he is now looking for a Chem Dry near him. I would recommend to all family, friends, and neighbors.

They arrived when they said they would.  Very professional.  Cleaned thoroughly.  Worked on spots until they had disappeared.

Pat arrived on time. He kindly did areas not discussed when the appointment was made. The spotted, stained, flat, discolored carpet ended up looking almost brand new. The color and texture were completely revived. Service was very friendly and professional. We have not had a bad experience in all the years we've used Chem-Dry and I would recommend Pat's work to family or friends.

This is the third time we've used this particular franchise, after my husband urged me to try Chem Dry. We have three much loved but big mess-making pets and off-white and beige carpeting. Not only is the Chem Dry method extremely effective, but Patrick Fauntroy is an outstanding professional and gentleman. He works extremely hard to clean, disinfect and protect our w/w carpeting. He is punctual, always calls ahead to let me know his ETA, is exceedingly courteous, and does a great job. Our carpet looks brand new. I highly recommend this provider!

Pat went out of his way to help us after our basement flooded. He came by same day and brought us 2 commercial dryers and humidifiers to try and salvage our carpet after our sumo pump could not keep up with all of the recent rain. We have used him many times with excellent service and will continue in the future.

We have used a chem-dry service for the last 20 years. I have switched companies each time because of not so great services that included such things as: and quot;hard sellingand quot; me things/services I didn't need, carpets being too wet and staying wet for days - and worse yet tacking on extra hidden costs, and the list went on.
HOW REFRESHING! Pat was none of those things. He was a delightful person full of positive energy. The price was the same as we had discussed over the phone.
It is clear that he loves his job and helping others. I am so impressed with how hard and how fast he worked. He went that extra mile - vacuuming before cleaning too! None of the other companies ever did that. He also treated a spot in the family room after we agreed on a price and didn't add an additional fee.
Most impressively, my husband and I were conviced that we would have to replace one of our daughter's carpeting because she had spills and our dogs had torn up trash out of the bathroom trashcan that had stained the carpet. We thought we'd let chem-dry give it a try before resigning ourselves to replacing the carpet. Pat took it as a challenge. He worked so h****** her room - at least 45 minutes. Unbelievable!! The carpet looked BRAND NEW! I was just stunned. When my husband came home, he was shocked and couldn't believe Pat was that successful. All the marks, stains, spills -- gone!
I will definitely call them again and request Pat. Furthermore, I will share this information with my friends. It is hard to find someone you can trust in your home.

Terrell arrived a few minutes late (in his mind only) and apologized. Truthfully, I didn't think he was late at all. He was very courteous and listened to what I said were my concerns. The landing between the 2 stair cases had a spot (7x9) that one of my cats had marked as his own territory...several times. That stain and the offending smell is now gone!!!! I was afraid that because I had waited so long to have a professional come in instead of me on my knees scrubbing with whatever new product promised a resolution would have made the stain impossible to get out. However, Terrell worked at the stain and now both the odor and the stain are gone.
I am very pleased with both Terrell and Pat whom I believe I spoke to on the phone when I made the initial appointment. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone....and already have suggested ChemDry of Northern Virginia to one of my co-workers.

This work was very professionally done. We had a lengthy telephone conversation about the problems my dog had caused and how they could be treated. The cleaner came two days early to spray damaged areas; he examined the whole carpet to look for areas that I might not have known about, and he explained the whole process to me. We discussed price, and the final price was as estimated, minus a coupon that I had. He returned promptly on cleaning day and first helped me move a sofa so that he could attend to the entire carpet. He then did an extremely thorough job of cleaning and finishing. And he helped me move the sofa back in place. We then had a conversation about how best to treat future pet stains on my type of carpet. All in all, I was well pleased. I have used the company before and will definitely use it again. I highly recommend this company!

I had used this company for carpet cleaning in the past because of the quick drying time. On the contract it states "Carpets dry in only 1-2 hours". However, this was certainly not the case following a recent cleaning. After more than 12 hours, the carpet was still soaking wet. We had to set up fans overnight and finally by morning, almost 24 hours after the service, the carpet was dry enough to walk on. I called the company the next morning to complain and was told they would check their equipment. Only after expressing great concern about the drying time, was I offered 10% off on my next cleaning. This was later increased to 20% off. Well, there won't be a next time.
