Bent Tree Apartments

Do not move here. Everyone in the office since Aimco took place are liars and they deceive you or they omit to give you information and afterwards you can not do anything but stand it. The maintenance and cleaning is bad. I have one more year and I have to put up with it, but if you want good advice, do not move here.

With the way it was, we were satisfied with Bent Tree Apartments. There were issues definitely with the office and stuff. I disliked the management office - it was very disorganized. When you go in to sign your lease they tell you one thing and when you came back, they said something else. For example, I was told I would get two parking passes and a visitor pass. When I went back to pick them up, I only got one. I said that I was told I would get 2, and they said well, they made a mistake and you can only get one. We had a short term lease for 2 months for a relocation and we were told we had to let them know 30 days before you move out if we were going to extend the lease or not. I went in 30 days ahead and they didn't want to know anything about it and said just come back the day before you move out and tell us you are staying. I did that and the guy I spoke to that day said I was supposed to come back 2 weeks previously. I want in one day to pay my rent and it took them an hour to find my paperwork. We are still waiting for our final paperwork from them and we moved out over a month ago. The apartment itself was average. The kitchen had been updated, but it was poor quality workmanship. With the cabinets, they had started to drill the holes for the knobs on the wrong side before they realized it and just started again on the right side. There is half a drilled hole in each door. The counter top has a rough surface because it looks like they drilled screws through it then backed them out again. The bathroom had not been updated. My wife complained a few times about the caulk in the tile. It looked like somebody who didn't know what they were doing did it.
