We were customers for 10 years in Heathsville, VA, until the fall of 2020. For a 1,350 sqft house, the saleman (!), sold me on a 3-ton unit to replace a 2.5-ton unit. Enough said on sizing. I trusted the company. First the switches between the air handler and heat pump were mismatched. When major drafts were constantly blowing and the air filter being replaced every 8 days, I called for help. Could be a duct issue (flexible lines), they said, but the specialist couldn't come for 2-3 weeks (called 3 months later). After more days of breathing in dust, we called another company. They came quickly. Insulation on one duct was burned. Air distribution was toast on a couple; another run had to be relocated. Disintegrated dust tape everywhere. Why did P-F never see that ever? At lease the plenum was good. Other company did duct work. No more excessive dust, pollen, and drafts. I also wanted nonpowered dehumidification for the main house. Got the right themostat, but they failed to add the auxiliary heat kit to the contract. Just discovered that one, which prompted me to write this review, sadly. One last comment, at the guest house, the safety switch for condensate pump on Carrier heat pump they installed 8 years ago wasn't wired.

These folks are first class all the way, they are responsive, show up on time and prepared to accomplish the work. Very neat and professional in every aspect. I could not be more pleased and very highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work of any kind.

For price, they're a little on the high-side. They fixed our air conditioning many times and without trying to sell us stuff that we don't need. I think they just give really high-quality service.

They are a very good company. I recommend them because they are the only company I call. They always come when I call. They are local and they have been very good for us. We have called them for 20 years. They come when they say they are coming and they do the work. The interaction has been very good, and the work has always been good. I have never had to call them back to check on one job that they have done. They have also checked our two heating systems that we have in the house.

Their service is very high quality. They're very dependable and reliable.

First, I am surprised that no one has submitted a review of this very professional and efficient business.  I contacted them because they installed  HVAC in new construction of home on lot near my house and before I had access to this website.
They responded very  timely, performed the work when they said they would and I was pretty much blown away by the system they installed (Comments from family - "Is that Atlantic Research on the attic and basement?").  Anyway, the house had been seasonal- only previously and we finally decided to bite the bullet and install  HVAC.  2800 SQ ft home. NO insullation and very leaky windows.  BUT, they put in 2 (zoned up and down) 13 seer 3.5 ton heat pump system and I couldn't believe how well they cooled the house!  No question in my mind that these folks know there HVAC systems.
I was not on the porperty when they did the installation, but did check in once and the employees could not have been more friendly or helpful.  If I had not known when the installation haad taken place, you would have never known they had been in the house, basement or attic - it was so very clean.  They even put back down the runners I had taken up on the floors.  Just can't say enough good things about this company.
We have since had insulation put in the attic and basement and I have personally been sealing leaky windows.  Now it's winter and it's so nice to be there and have HEAT.  It works just as well as the AC does.  Highly recommend them!
