The Quality Home Contractor LLC

Quality Home Contractor is a home remodeler & contractor named Jesus Peredes.  We hired Jesus for remodeling work in our house that included kitchen remodeling, a bathroom addition and building a screened porch addition. He also did various smaller projects, such as rebuilding stairs, installing hard wood floors and painting. Jesus gave us a good price, had good design ideas and brought to the job various people that he worked with, including an architect and cabinet-maker. Through the course of his work with us (from May 2010 - Jan. 2011) Jesus had lied to us, mismanaged the money we paid to him, did mediocre work on our house and created many additional problems for us -- problems which we are still trying to fix today. He says that he is licensed and bonded, but he is not. He is lying.

Without recreating a long, painful story, I?ll give you the ?highlights? of our work with Jesus Peredes.  Once he finished the kitchen and still had the bathroom and porch to complete, he alerted us that ?the budget was broken.? He had mismanaged the full amount that we had paid him (our mistake for paying him in full before the job was complete) and requested more money from us to finish the job. When we refused to pay more than what we had agreed upon, his work slowed down to a snails pace, he relied on cheap materials and any quality in his work went down the toilet. Ultimately, he left our house without finishing the job. 

Jesus did all of the electrical and plumbing work on our new kitchen, new bathroom and through out the house. His numerous mistakes caused us to FAIL county inspection three different times.  When Jesus eventually walked off the job leaving our house in disarray, we hired a new master plumber and master electrician to pull new permits and fix Jesus? work. We spent well over $15,000 hiring new people to finish the work, fix Jesus? mistakes and help us pass inspection.

Most recently we have learned that the roof of the bathroom addition is leaking terribly.  Water has come into the bathroom through multiple sources from the roof. We?ve had numerous contractors and roofers look at the roof, all of them pointing out mistake after mistake that Jesus made when building our bathroom addition. We?ve been advised to repair the entire roof, with an estimated cost of $7,000.

Hiring Jesus has been a homeowner?s nightmare. Just when we thought we fixed the many problems he created, new ones spring up. Once the roof is fixed, we will have spent over $20,000 patching up his mistakes. As you can tell, we are not savvy homeowners and unfortunately, we know little about home remodeling. We trusted the wrong person by hiring Jesus Peredes, and we have since learned of other people in the area who have experienced similar nightmares by working with Jesus.

Don?t get screwed over like we did. Do not hire Jesus Peredes. Thanks for reading.
