Neighborhood Plumber

First class, very professional. Have asked them to come back several times, and will continue to do so. I finally have a plumbing contractor I can trust!!!!

Duc is very prompt and professional. His office gave me the arrival time of 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and he arrived at 2:04 pm. This is the second time we hired him to help us with a problem drain and he was able to fix the issue quickly, and work with us to figure out how to prevent the same issue from coming back again.

Not well! Never got the quote, not email, no text.. Didn't return my call. I have been waiting a week and a half. terrible....

Duc responded within 45 minutes. He's polite, professional, and just a pleasant guy. Seems to REALLY know his trade. Already had him come back once more. Plan to have him as my "go to" plumber from now on. Hire him, he's great.

Does not make any noise now. Duc knows what he is doing.

Had a pvc hose line freeze over the winter and then when turned on water to hose line in spring to use again the line was leaking.  Duk came out and found the issue (cracks in 3 places) and fixed right away. 
I have used Neighborhood Plumber close to 10 times for my rental homes and personal home.   Duk is always responsive right away and very professional and trustworthy. 
He is not the cheapest plumber, and prefers not to do some of the more complicated plumbing work (ie break concrete/ sewer lines, etc)  but he is upfront about what he will and won't do.  Honest work and reliability are big in my book so I recommend.

It was a rip off, but he was awesome. I had to work and my husband was out of town. So, he came and did it without me being here. He was extremely cooperative that way. I chose him because of his availability and prompt response. There was spraying everywhere so it was pretty cold. I had to wake up my neighbor to come and help me. I would call him back in the future for water heater work or for plumbing services, but I would negotiate the price better.

It was an after hours call and they were there within an hour. They found the leak by working with the water company and they are going to have to come back top fix it. They were very responsive, friendly, and competent. I feel confident in the work they did and will do. He tried tightening up the cufflinks but that turned to not be the only problem.

Duc has been our plumber for over five years. He's very talented, honest, and trustworthy. He's done a lot of tricky projects for us, in addition to conventional plumbing projects. For this particular project, he helped us because we were going to be out of town and we were concerned that we didn't have a functional backup pump in case the power went out (the old backup was removed when the french drain system was installed). Duc offered to watch our house (he lives in our neighborhood) while we were away, and if there was a power outage, he'd come in and hook up our generator to prevent our basement from flooding until the new parts were in for the backup pump (everyone's basement has been flooding this summer with all of the torrential rains and parts suppliers are on backorder). Duc installed our backup pump while we were out of town, and explained the maintenance and other critical issues when we returned.
Duc is great - he's also in high demand because of his quality work - we will definitely use Neighborhood Plumber again in the future.

I always request Duc (pronounced Duke). I'm sure the others are great, but I've always been very happy and impressed with Duc.

I used them before for an emergency when a pipe broke, and they came at midnight on a Saturday and I appreciated that.

When I woke up to find my hot water heater spewing hot water all over my basement floor, I was very thankful that I was told I could have a plumber within two hours. He came (in less than the two hour time frame) and assessed the situation, worked around my work schedule and had my new hot water heater installed by that afternoon. He explained my options thoroughly and did very professional work. I would definitely call Neighborhood Plumber the nest time I need plumbing work done.

He is great. He's also respectful of trying to fix the issue in the most cost effective manner. He's also very honest trustworthy.

Guess the economy isn't as bad as everyone says it is...this company would not send someone out to my home to provide me with an estimate without charging $70! Needless to say I contacted other companies that were happy to come out and provide a free estimate, and I am currently having the work completed by one of their competitors.

My toilet was giving me a problem and I called up this plumber who I have used in the past. He came right over and fixed the problem within a half hour and I haven't had any problems since. He is a local guy who does a great job.

They replaced the water heater that had leaked, promptly, putting us on the schedule earlier than expected so we didn't have to take cold showers for as long! They responded on a WEEKEND to our emergency call and, after ordering the heater, removed the old one and replaced it quickly and neatly.
