I will continue to use them.

Groomer assured me that the dog would be ready by 1:30 PM.  Unfortunately, the dog was just starting to get groomed at 1:30.  At 2:00 after a rushed cut, dog was ready.  I have used this facility many times in the past and have been very satisfied with the quality of the service.  It is unfortunate that they cannot better estimate the time that dogs will be ready.  Another issue related to timing involves their requirement that dogs be dropped off between 8:00 and 9:00AM so that all dogs are washed and dried at the same time. This causes all dogs to not be done until noon or later such as my dog.

Service was fine, groomer did just what I ask her to do.  I will use For Pet's Sake again.

I've been using them for more than 10 years. They are excellent. The prices on dog grooming are huge. I got him washed before I took him there. I spent $50. We had him shaved down. No styling.

I have used For Pet's Sake for three years for grooming my pomeranian. At the recommendation of a friend, I asked for Lux. She has done a wonderful job with my dog, and is very kind to her. I have used no one but Lux since I've been going there, and plan to keep returning for years!

We've been using For Pet's Sake for grooming our dogs (Cocker Spaniels) for several years now. As I have reported in the past , their groomers (most recently Lux) are excellent.

Drop off early and you can pick up earlier. They will also walk you dog if your dog needs to stay for the day because of your schedule.

Please see above. Never again will my pet go there. She had been going since 2005! Now the service has really fallen off as far as I can obserse and have experienced. I was so angry when I got home and really looked at her. Even today, she will not allow me to touch her head! As far as responsiveness, I was so angry, I could not call or go back there because my behavior would not have been professional after seeing the terrible job that was performed on my pet, Beatrice.
My name is Rev. Dr. Barbara S. Wallace I had been bringing my pet there from June 2005 until yesterday, July 26, 2012. But never again. So yes I want them to know why I wouldn't be coming back.and why! Celma was a wonderful groomer, Lee's work exhibits inexperience, lack of pride in work!!

Overall, my experience with them was good. I used them around October and again in November, and I paid $50 each time. I would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Fantastic, as usual.

Service went well. I requested that they be ready to go by a specific time and they were ready on time. The groomer did exactly what I requested and they both looked great when finished. $65 per dog = $130 for service plus tip.

I have been very pleased with them. My dog is a standard poodle, so it takes a highly skilled groomer to take care of. Jackie is able to do this. My dog appears to be quite relaxed when I come to get her. She is 13 years old, so that means a lot!

My older guy, Patches, has begun to periodically bark due to vision loss and mental decline. When I brought my crew in this morning, I asked if Patches could be groomed first and then I be called to come pick him up so that any potential barking would not annoy staff and other dogs. Also, I didn't want him to get too stressed. Jane, our groomer of 7 years, agreed to my request. She then said that she would go ahead and do all three of them first, but would call me if Patches began barking and appeared stressed. She didn't want me to have to come over twice. She also helped me out when I brought my 17 year old Shih Tzu, who has now passed away, in for grooming. I would bath him at home and then she would call me just as she began her last appointment. By the time I got there, she was ready for Moe and allowed me to assist while she groomed him. It made her job easier and Moe was less stressed out! Thanks Jane!

We just moved to the area and were a tad anxious about who to take our 10 month Standard Poodle to for grooming. Our pup is a bit anxious when we leave her and our former groomer, her very first, was very gentle and patient with her. We called the shop at a time when they were closed yet left a message, sharing what we wanted; they returned our call very quickly during their next business day. We shared our concerns about where to take our girl (after all, pups are family, too) and what we expected in a cut and after some discussion, it was decided that Jackie would handle the grooming. We were able to schedule an appointment very quickly and at a time which worked well for us. We arrived just about at the same time Jackie did and talked with her about the cut and style (puppy cut, shaved around the feet and nose) and showed Jackie a couple of pictures of what she looked like after her last grooming session. Jackie listened to what we wanted, looked at the pictures and assured us everything would be fine...and we left. A few hours later we received a call that Boo (our girl) was done and that she was a great pup! When we picked her up, WOW! She looked great; she appeared happy and not anxious and overall, the quality of the work was exemplary. We booked our very next appointment that day - with Jackie of course! We highly recommend Jackie's services and haven't any reason to believe she won't do as great a job on our next visit!

Celma grooms our bichon frise and always does a wonderful job! He is still pretty young and has some separation anxiety but she deals with him very well. She always is kind and attentive to his needs and ours. He has grown to really like going to For Pet's Sake and if he is a little more anxious than usual they are very good at moving him up in the schedule and finishing quickly. We really appreciate how good of a job they do and how well they take care of our dog.

We just got our new dog from the rescue, and they were able to get us an appointment for the day after we called. We thought we would have to wait at least a week. They were very knowledgeable about the type of grooming our dog needed (since we weren't)! He was done early and looked great! We selected them from reviews on Angie's List and after we had the appointment three other people recommended the same place!

They seemed to be very good to the dogs they were grooming and they seem well cared for. My dog isn't the easiest of customers, he has blow dryer issues (he wants to attack it) and they were good with that. He was excited to see me when I came to pick him up, with the "don't I look handsome?" swagger, all dogs seem to get after grooming. My only complaint is that I've asked twice if they could do the Scottie Cut and twice they said yes and twice he has come home looking like a Westie. I would recommend For Pets Sake to other dog owners that didn't need specific breed trims.

Jackie is amazing. She is gentle and kind and very patient. My Maltese are pretty skittish and they love going to For Pet's Sake. My kitty was so relaxed when I got her back, I almost thought she was someone else's. I recommend Jackie and her entire crew very highly. They are fairly priced, love animals and do a great job.

We have a 10-year-old English Cocker Spaniel who, while generally good, does not particularly care for grooming. Of course, she also has LOTS of fur that gets tangled. They do an excellent job. She comes out smelling great and looking gorgeous, with a pretty bow to match. All of the staff is consistently courteous and accommodating. They've even taken us ''next day.''
