She is outstanding.  She is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate industry in the Northern Virginia Area.  She is aggressive in behalf of her clients but she is able to develop a rapport so she doesn’t come across being bossy.  She is able to build negotiations assertively in behalf of her clients.  I think the seller and the agent have an understanding in terms of the cost.

This is the second time I've used Dina Gorrell's services to get me into a new home.  The first time I bought a house in 2005, I was a new, young, naive home buyer in seller's market.  Contracts were being submitted with escalation clauses and waiving home inspections.  After days of searching and looking, Dina and I stumbled across a home for sale by the seller without real estate representation.  Dina navigated the entire contract, providing the seller with guidance and ensuring all the paperwork was submitted so that i could get into the home.

When I was ready to start looking for my next home, I immediately contacted Dina, about 4 months before I was ready to buy.  We discussed my needs/desires and how I wanted to start exploring neighborhoods.  She sent me a series of listings and I started looking at neighborhoods.  I found the home I wanted 3 months sooner than I felt I was ready to buy.  Dina referred me to an amazing mortgage lender, Eric Fairhurst or Churchill Mortgage, who helped me assess whether buying now was a reality.  It was.  I then contacted Dina and we started the negotiation.  She advised when she needed to advise, she listened to me and reminded me that her responsibility was to work on my behalf.  She kept me grounded through the process.

The end result - I got the house, at the price I wanted, with the concessions I wanted, and settled in the timeframe I wanted to settle.  Dina made that happen.  I'm now a proud owner of two properties, both of which Dina Gorrell helped me acquire!

If you are looking for a real estate agent you can trust who is going to work on your behalf, Dina is the person for you!  I didn't have to go this route, but she is also experienced in navigating the short-sale and the foreclosure scenarios.
